“You\u00a0are\u00a0a coward and a killer!”<\/p>\n

Those are the words of animal lovers, outraged over the shocking slaughter of the beloved 13-year-old Cecil, a famous and protected lion\u00a0which was killed in Zimbabwe’s Hwange National Park this week by an American dentist, who is now receiving threats. PETA is even\u00a0calling for his execution<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Liberal reporters wasted no time in covering this story, with some even voicing their own\u00a0personal\u00a0revulsion\u00a0on social media. I understand.\u00a0It’s gruesome. But while Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> and the rest of the world grieve over the death of a single lion, they\u00a0also\u00a0turn a blind eye to the story of children senselessly slaughtered – and sold for parts – by Planned Parenthood. Some – like Kimmel’s ex-girlfriend, for instance<\/a> – go beyond\u00a0turning a blind eye, instead expressing support for making good use of those fetal organs. For science, you know.<\/p>\n

Now, wait just a minute – don’t try and draw parallels between these two stories! They’re totally different!<\/em><\/p>\n

Are they?<\/p>\n

The real differences seem to be in the amount of public outrage and in the depth of mainstream media coverage. But both stories involve the taking of innocent lives. So why has the reaction been\u00a0so one-sided?<\/p>\n

Political commentator\u00a0Steven Crowder<\/a>\u00a0noticed a\u00a0lack of emotional distress about the treatment of human fetuses aborted by Planned Parenthood:<\/p>\n

How did Jimmy Kimmel react when he watched the Planned Parenthood\u00a0videos<\/a>? How about when he\u00a0learned that\u00a0baby\u2019s parts were callously\u00a0sold<\/a>\u00a0for profit? Did he find himself verklempt?<\/p>\n

Turns out, surprise surprise, Jimmy Kimmel never said a word about Planned Parenthood.\u00a0Because, progress….<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Steven Crowder isn’t the only one drawing comparisons.<\/p>\n

The Hill was taken to task<\/a>\u00a0by several Twitter users for focusing so heavily on\u00a0the death of Cecil (and his killer’s political donations) while remaining blas\u00e9 about\u00a0Planned Parenthood’s scandal:<\/p>\n
