Abortionist Dr. Kopf in an interview with\u00a0Examiner.com<\/a> gives his point of view on abortion and adoption:<\/p>\n

\u201cAbortion is birth control. Adoption is giving up your child and not accepting your duties as a mother. Most women are not interested in that. It’s only in a religiously-altered mind that that’s a true option.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

My first thought: How rude and untrue this is!\u00a0 First of all, if adoption is giving up your child and not accepting the duty of motherhood, then what is abortion? Any person knows that abortion is giving up a woman` s motherhood. Even pro-abortion supporters know that when a woman gets an abortion, she made the choice to not accept the responsibilities of a mother. Secondly, he just gave credit to religious women for being the only group who would even consider adoption. What about the other women who do not have a “religiously-altered mind”? His pro-abortion thinking tears down adoption as another option that women are given.
\n<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another statement he made was when he was asked, \u201cAt what point do you believe that a fetus becomes a human being?\u201d :<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, as long as you have an early abortion, that’s birth control. If you have a late-term abortion, that’s euthanasia. I mean c’mon, let’s face it. You do an abortion at 30 weeks, you know, you could do a C-section and you have a little baby in your hands. That’s euthanasia.
\nBut euthanasia is something that’s coming, you know. I mean c’mon. It already exists in Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Notice how he ignores the question and moves on to another topic, euthanasia. Euthanasia is the act of killing someone painlessly, especially someone who is suffering from an incurable illness. Almost all abortions are purely elective and not medically necessary. If he were to follow his own argument (and actually knew what \u201ceuthanasia\u201d means), babies shouldn\u2019t be aborted– they don\u2019t fit in the category of people with incurable illnesses or diseases. He admits there is life in the womb, but around 30 weeks when the fetus is almost 9 months. Dr. Kopf is another physician <\/strong> who gives the wrong impression about human life. <\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
