On national television.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"border instance_large_img\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn.meme.am\/instances2\/500x\/875846.jpg\" alt=\"Clark Gable at Finals - Frankly, my dear, I've got some uncomfortable questions to ask you.\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Clark Gable III is the\u00a0current host of <em>Cheaters<\/em>, a TV show that revolves around infidelity. Each episode begins by introducing someone with suspicions about a partner. Next comes surveillance\u00a0footage of the person in question. When their guilt is finally proven (and it always is), the evidence is shown to the wronged party. At this point, the victim, Mr. Gable, and a posse of cameramen and bodyguards roll up to confront the target. Voices tend to get raised.<\/p>\n<p>The cheater typically responds by claiming innocence. Amazingly, some will continue\u00a0to do so even when presented with a recording of his or her transgressions. To most people, this comes off looking absurd.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently the higher ups at Planned Parenthood feel differently; they\u2019ve taken the same approach\u00a0to handling their latest scandal.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/\"> Center for Medical Progress<\/a> released a\u00a0<a title=\"FULL FOOTAGE: Planned Parenthood Uses Partial-Birth Abortions to Sell Baby Parts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H4UjIM9B9KQ\" target=\"_blank\"><u>video<\/u><\/a> of Dr. Deborah Nucatola,\u00a0Planned Parenthood\u2019s senior director of medical services.\u00a0It shows her\u00a0having lunch\u00a0with\u00a0people\u00a0who claim they&#8217;re\u00a0with a company dealing in human tissue. Over the course of the meeting, Nucatola\u00a0discusses a number of activities. The fact that many of them are illegal doesn\u2019t seem to bother her.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jjxwVuozMnU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>While <a title=\"NATIONAL INSTITUTES OF HEALTH REVITALIZATION ACT OF 1993\" href=\"http:\/\/www.hhs.gov\/ohrp\/policy\/publiclaw103-43.htm.html\" target=\"_blank\"><u>federal law<\/u><\/a>\u00a0prohibits altering how an abortion is performed in order to facilitate the harvesting of organs, Nucatola talks about doing just that. As she explains,<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We\u2019ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I\u2019m not gonna crush that part, I\u2019m gonna basically crush below, I\u2019m gonna crush above, and I\u2019m gonna see if I can get it all intact.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>It doesn\u2019t stop there. Four minutes and ten seconds into the video above, Nucatola starts describing a technique that sounds a lot like partial-birth abortion. Partial-birth abortions have <a title=\"18 U.S. Code \u00a7 1531 - Partial-birth abortions prohibited\" href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/uscode\/text\/18\/1531\" target=\"_blank\"><u>been outlawed<\/u><\/a> since 2003, but the Planned Parenthood doctor isn\u2019t too concerned. In her words, \u201cThe Federal (Partial-Birth) Abortion ban is a law, and laws are up to interpretation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"attachment-post-thumbnail wp-post-image\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/partialbirthabortion.jpg\" alt=\"partialbirthabortion\" width=\"672\" height=\"372\" \/><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.gpo.gov\/fdsys\/pkg\/USCODE-2010-title42\/html\/USCODE-2010-title42-chap6A-subchapIII-partH-sec289g-2.htm\" target=\"_blank\"><u>Making money<\/u><\/a> from the sale of fetal organs is also illegal; evidently that isn\u2019t a concern either. Although Planned Parenthood has decided \u201cit\u2019s too touchy\u201d for the national organization to act as \u201cmiddlemen\u201d when it comes to supplying human remains, regional affiliates are welcome to look for opportunities:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">I think for affiliates, at the end of the day, they\u2019re a non-profit, they just don\u2019t want to\u2014they want to break even. And if they can do a little better than break even, and do so in a way that seems reasonable, they\u2019re happy to do that.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Doing better than breaking even is what most people would call &#8220;turning a profit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.ppaction.org\/site\/Advocacy?cmd=display&amp;page=UserAction&amp;id=19825\" target=\"_blank\">their response<\/a>, Planned Parenthood\u00a0said pro-lifers were making \u201cfalse allegations\u201d and initiating a \u201csmear job.\u201d Further, Planned Parenthood president Cecile Richards insisted that the group doesn\u2019t profit \u201cin any way\u201d from the transfer of human tissue. If so, then someone should probably explain that to Dr. Mary Gatter. She&#8217;s the president of Planned Parenthood\u2019s medical directors council, and it\u00a0sounds like she has other ideas.<\/p>\n<p>In <a title=\"FULL FOOTAGE: Second Planned Parenthood Senior Executive Haggles Over Baby Parts Prices\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vwAGsjoorvk\" target=\"_blank\">another video<\/a> that was released this week,\u00a0Gatter can be heard haggling over the value of fetal body parts. She makes it clear\u00a0that getting a good price is important to her, stating, \u201cI want a Lamborghini.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MjCs_gvImyw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>What isn&#8217;t important to her is\u00a0behaving ethically towards her patients:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Let me explain to you a little bit of a problem, which may not be a big problem. If our usual technique is suction, at 10 to 12 weeks, and we switch to using an IPAS [manual vacuum aspirator] or something with less suction, in order to increase the odds that it will come out as an intact specimen, then we\u2019re kind of violating the protocol that says to the patient, \u201cWe\u2019re not doing anything different in our care for you.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Is &#8220;violating the protocol&#8221; something she feels bad about? Nope.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<div style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Now, to me, that\u2019s kind of a specious little argument, and I wouldn\u2019t object to asking Ian \u2014 who\u2019s our surgeon who does the cases \u2014 to use an IPAS at that gestational stage, in order to increase the odds that he\u2019s going to get an intact specimen.<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>In light of all this, it\u2019s clearly time for a break-up between Planned Parenthood and the federal government. A good start would be ending the <a title=\"Planned Parenthood receives record amount of taxpayer support\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2013\/01\/08\/planned-parenthood-receives-record-amount-taxpayer-support\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u>half billion<\/u><\/a> dollar subsidy that the group receives every year; you can sign Live Action\u2019s <a title=\"Planned Parenthood Exposed\" href=\"http:\/\/plannedparenthoodexposed.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u>petition<\/u><\/a> asking Congress to do that. You should also sign the <a title=\"Order the Attorney General to Investigate Planned Parenthood's Sale of Aborted Baby Parts\" href=\"https:\/\/petitions.whitehouse.gov\/petition\/order-attorney-general-investigate-planned-parenthoods-sale-aborted-baby-parts-1\" target=\"_blank\"><u>petition<\/u><\/a> at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u>WhiteHouse.gov<\/u><\/a> demanding criminal prosecution.<\/p>\n<p>The producers of <em>Cheaters <\/em> say their show is about promoting &#8220;temperance&#8221; and virtue.&#8221; When it comes to Planned Parenthood&#8217;s latest scandal, the focus should be on crimes and consequences. There&#8217;s been plenty of the former, and\u00a0now\u00a0it&#8217;s time to bring down some of the latter.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Think your significant other is being unfaithful?
