Whip Hoyer: Planned Parenthood not &#8220;harvesting anything&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Despite admitting he has not yet watched the <a href=\"\/news\/breaking-second-video-shows-planned-parenthood-negotiating-payment-baby-parts\/\">footage<\/a> released by the Center for Medical Progress of Planned Parenthood officials discussing the sale of organs from aborted babies, House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer <a href=\"http:\/\/cnsnews.com\/news\/article\/kathleen-brown\/hoyer-i-reject-any-premise-planned-parenthood-harvesting-fetal-organs-or\">told CNS News<\/a> on Tuesday he does not believe the abortion giant has done anything wrong.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlanned Parenthood is doing very, very important services for literally hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of women as relates to their health,\u201d Hoyer claimed. \u201cI haven\u2019t reviewed the tapes, but I\u2019ve read articles on them. And, certainly, the Congress, as I understand it, will be having hearings on it and I\u2019ll be interested to see when that is.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The leading Democrat went on to pledge, \u201cI\u2019m not going to jump to conclusions,\u201d but then declared, \u201cI reject any premise that Planned Parenthood is harvesting fetal organs, or body parts, anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOrgan harvesting\u201d <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/thisemotionallife\/blogs\/organ-harvesting\">simply means<\/a> the removal and preservation of human organs for future use.
