This includes an admission that CMP investigators may have video of actual tissue procurement at a PP facility&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Biomax\u00a0set up exhibits at our\u00a0National Medical Conference\u00a0and our<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>National Conference\u00a0over the last couple of years.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We believe that on at least one occasion a representative from Biomax was shown a highly sensitive area in a clinic where tissue is processed after abortion procedures. While this work is standard and essential during any abortion procedure, any filming in such an area would be an extremely serious invasion of our patients\u2019 privacy and dignity. We also believe that in at least one interaction at a Planned Parenthood facility, the Biomax representative asked questions about the racial characteristics of tissue donated to researchers studying sickle cell anemia, apparently seeking to create a misleading impression.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We believe a focal point of Biomax\u2019s efforts was to induce our affiliates to enter into sham procurement contracts. In one instance, the amounts offered by Biomax were $100 per specimen. In another instance, Biomax offered to pay much more, sending the affiliate a \u201cprocurement agreement\u201d that offered a payment of $1,600 for a liver and thymus \u2013 an astronomical amount compared to the minimal cost-recovery fees that affiliates with tissue donation programs currently recoup. These efforts most often targeted Planned Parenthood affiliates not currently engaged in tissue donation. All of these efforts were rebuffed. We suspect, however, that this will not deter the extremists behind this campaign from editing and distorting their surreptitious videos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We also believe there are multiple taped interactions initiated by Biomax discussing whether and how a physician could adjust an abortion if the patient has requested to donate tissue for medical research, and we believe that these extremists will manipulate those videos to make more false claims. In fact, given the scope and length of the deceptive practices perpetrated by Mr. Daleiden, and the lengths he apparently went to in order to advance his political agenda, there may well be thousands of hours of videotape that he will deceptively edit into short video clips to release for many months.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-186963\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/image_286-e1437510701749.jpg\" alt=\"image_286\" width=\"330\" height=\"186\" \/>So, Planned Parenthood thinks CMP has video of at least two of its conferences as well as PP staff dissecting babies for organs, expressing a preference for black babies, sniffing \u2013 if not taking \u2013 the bait on large kickbacks\u00a0for baby parts, admitting (which has already happened twice) to illegally manipulating abortions to retrieve intact organs and body parts, and much,\u00a0<em>much<\/em>,\u00a0<em><strong>much<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0more about which it has no idea.<\/p>\n<p>And here\u2019s an inkling of what else is out there. I can scarcely imagine. From\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/rhrealitycheck.org\/article\/2015\/07\/20\/daleiden-group-routinely-used-alcohol-pry-information-targets\/\">RH Reality Check<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">In the days since that misleading video was released, Daleiden and his surrogates have sent ricochets of alarm throughout the abortion provider community with their claims that there are more such videos to come.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Of particular concern is the apparent revelation that Daleiden and his associates managed to infiltrate deep into the abortion care world, even attending conferences that require at least two letters of recommendation before any attendee can register.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Two such conferences were held by the\u00a0National Abortion Federation, the national association for abortion providers in\u00a0America\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Biomax was a sponsor of both the 2014 NAF conference held in\u00a0San Francisco\u00a0and this year\u2019s conference in\u00a0Baltimore, according to attendees\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cBiomax had a booth that was right across from me,\u201d recalls\u00a0Heather Ault, a pro-choice artist and activist, describing the exhibition hall at the 2014 conference\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Ault is one of five attendees who have told\u00a0<em>RH Reality Check<\/em>\u00a0of their discomfort at learning that Daleiden and his groups infiltrated what had until now been seen as a secure space. Security is a high priority for abortion providers and pro-choice advocates, who are subject to constant threats and harassment, and whose safety\u00a0\u2013\u00a0and often lives\u00a0\u2013\u00a0are at risk at the hands of anti-choice terrorists\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">It wasn\u2019t just NAF conferences that Biomax attended.\u00a0Planned Parenthood Federation of American\u00a0[sic] today confirmed that Biomax had set up\u00a0<a class=\"ext-link\" title=\"(Open in new tab) \" href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/files\/7714\/3741\/4123\/Letter_to_Chairman_Upton.pdf\" rel=\"external\">sham exhibition booths<\/a>\u00a0at two Planned Parenthood conferences as well\u2026.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If Daleiden\u2019s group did record any participants of the NAF conferences in San Francisco or Baltimore, they likely committed crimes in doing so. Nevertheless, the possibility of additional footage, which will be doctored to give whatever impression Daleiden and his operatives choose, is unnerving for many providers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cHow did they get vetted?\u201d asked\u00a0Rosemary Codding, policy director for\u00a0Falls Church Healthcare Center,\u00a0Virginia, speaking about the NAF conference. \u201cIt requires two bona fide letters. It requires quite a lot. That has got to be disturbing to all members.
