If you can&#8217;t stomach the entire document, here are the quotes I believe we must contemplate:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>1) \u00a0<\/strong>PP: So, I decided to go to graduate school, and then I hung out with all the Ortho people, and I said No, this definitely isn\u2019t for me. <strong>But I really liked babies, <\/strong><strong>believe it or not.<\/strong><strong>\u00a0And I said ok, I\u2019m going to be a pediatrician.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;Believe it or not&#8221;? Why\u00a0wouldn&#8217;t anyone\u00a0believe the doctor likes babies when all\u00a0she does is remove tissue for a living? Come on, lets be real. It&#8217;s 2015 and we all know we&#8217;re talking about babies. Her own words betray her.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<strong>2)<\/strong> Buyer: So, normally how are you\u00a0guys disposing of it when it\u2019s not being donated? Is it going to Stericycle?<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP:\u00a0&#8230; a lot of waste is just steam sterilized and then dumped. If it\u2019s <strong>biological waste it has to be incinerated<\/strong>, it has to be tagged for incineration, that adds cost.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>People are horrified over the fact that baby parts are being sold, and rightly so. Yet, is the alternative of them\u00a0going to\u00a0 incinerators any better? \u00a0How can anyone who\u2019s learned the history of Nazi Germany be okay with this?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u00a0<strong>3)<\/strong> PP: I think for affiliates, at the end of the day, they\u2019re a non-profit, they just don\u2019t want to\u2014they want to break even. <strong>And if they can do a little better t<\/strong><strong>han break even<\/strong>, and do so in a way that seems reasonable, they\u2019re happy to do that.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/khugCMjbP24\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>If Planned Parenthood is only looking to be reimbursed for tissue procurement, then why does Dr. Nucatola mention affiliates wanting to do a little better than break even?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>4)<\/strong> Buyer:<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>If you\u2019ve got that in the back of your mind, if you\u2019re aware of that, technically, how much of a difference can that actually make if you <strong>know kind of what\u2019s expected or what we need<\/strong>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP: It makes a <strong>huge difference.<\/strong> I\u2019d say a lot of people want liver. And <strong>for that reason,<\/strong> most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they\u2019ll know where they\u2019re putting their forceps.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;For that reason&#8221;? Abortions have <a href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/learn\/abortion\/in-clinic-abortion-procedures\">risks<\/a>, including leaving fetal remains behind and perforated uteruses. If women\u2019s health is the top priority for Planned Parenthood\u00a0then\u00a0shouldn&#8217;t\u00a0THAT be the\u00a0reason for ultrasound-guided abortions, and shouldn&#8217;t more women receive them?<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>5)<\/strong> PP: Because number 1, the Federal Abortion Ban is a law, and <strong>laws are up to interpretation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Are\u00a0laws up to our own\u00a0interpretation? I doubt that&#8217;s what\u00a0the Supreme Court had in mind when they banned the gruesome practice of partial-birth abortion. Dr. Nucatola\u00a0implies\u00a0she&#8217;s\u00a0willing to bend laws for her own benefit. This is unethical and\u00a0it makes you wonder if\u00a0Planned Parenthood\u00a0thinks it\u2019s above the law.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>6)<\/strong> Buyer: Yea, speaking of which, you don\u2019t have, by chance, on you a copy of PPFA tissue procurement guidelines or anything like that.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP: <strong>There are no guidelines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Buyer: Not written.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP: <strong>They&#8217;re guidelines on research, but there are no guidelines on tissue <\/strong><strong>procurement.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Buyer: Okay.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP: <strong>And there will never be guidelines&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Buyer:<strong> I guess, even in terms of compensation and stuff like that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">PP:<strong> Nothing is written. There\u2019s nothing in stone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As Abby Johnson, former director\u00a0of a Planned Parenthood\u00a0said in a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2015\/jul\/19\/abby-johnson-planned-parenthood-defector-loophole-\/\">article<\/a>,\u00a0a lack of guidelines create loopholes. Prices can be raised based on an individual\u2019s preference. That is one way PP can\u00a0increase funds through this process.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>7)<\/strong> PP:\u00a0There was a patient that was transferred to me, from an outside clinic, who had had a D&amp;E, dilation and evacuation, late second trimester abortion, she was bleeding&#8230; I met her in the emergency room and I saw her and she was as white as this napkin, and I still remember her name, I remember everything about her, and she looked up at me, and she said, <strong>\u201cDon\u2019t let me die.\u201d And she actually bled to death.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is the reason Dr. Nucatola says she became an abortion doctor. She said, &#8220;I probably had a very different reaction than most people would.&#8221; If only that death\u00a0caused by\u00a0another abortion doctor had awakened her to the reality\u00a0that abortion harms women.\u00a0We hear of back alley abortions, yet what about this woman? Her story wasn&#8217;t told, and like others, her death is seen as a casualty to a protected &#8216;right.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>My heart aches for the women who die from abortion, the children sent to the incinerators, and for Dr.Nucatola. Her intelligence and care could have been used to advance life, not to take it. Her mother paid for an abortion but walked out of the doctor's office after a janitor in the hospital approached her. The janitor told her God would give her the strength to have her baby and she believed it. Hearing this story in her 20's caused Christina to become strongly pro-life. After graduating college in 2005, Christina spent a few years at the Justice House of Prayer in D.C and with the pro-life group Bound4Life. She then moved to the Atlanta to be on staff with the 24\/7 prayer ministry IHOP ATL. Christina is a wife and stepmom who currently works for a CareNet pregnancy center.
