In addition to being America\u2019s largest <a title=\"Planned Parenthood Services\" href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/files\/4013\/9611\/7243\/Planned_Parenthood_Services.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">abortion chain<\/span><\/u><\/a>, it\u2019s also gotten into the business of selling spare parts&#8212;spare <i>body parts<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jjxwVuozMnU?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>The video above was\u00a0released by the <a title=\"Center for Medical Progress\" href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Medical Progress<\/a>, with the\u00a0the unedited version available <a title=\"FULL FOOTAGE: Planned Parenthood Uses Partial-Birth Abortions to Sell Baby Parts\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H4UjIM9B9KQ\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. It records a meeting between Planned Parenthood\u2019s senior director of medical services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, and two individuals she believed were with a human-biologics firm. They&#8217;re discussing\u00a0 how to acquire fetal organs,\u00a0and Dr. Nucatola is happy to explain\u00a0what&#8217;s involved:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cWe\u2019ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I\u2019m not gonna crush that part, I\u2019m gonna basically crush below, I\u2019m gonna crush above, and I\u2019m gonna see if I can get it all intact.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While she claims Planned Parenthood\u2019s national organization has decided \u201cit\u2019s too touchy an issue for us to be an official middleman\u201d in supplying human remains, that doesn\u2019t stop the group\u2019s affiliates from looking for opportunities. At eight minutes and two seconds into the unedited tape, she says, &#8220;I think for affiliates, at the end of the day, they\u2019re a non-profit, they just don\u2019t want to\u2014they want to break even. And if they can do a little better than break even, and do so in a way that seems reasonable, they\u2019re happy to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>What Nucatola is describing isn\u2019t just gruesome, it\u2019s also illegal. \u201cA little better than break even\u201d is what most people would call \u201cturning a profit.\u201d\u00a0That&#8217;s a bit of a problem, as\u00a0federal law says you\u00a0<a title=\"\u00a7289g\u20132. Prohibitions regarding human fetal tissue\" href=\"http:\/\/www.gpo.gov\/fdsys\/pkg\/USCODE-2010-title42\/html\/USCODE-2010-title42-chap6A-subchapIII-partH-sec289g-2.htm\" target=\"_blank\">can&#8217;t\u00a0make money<\/a>\u00a0off the transfer of fetal tissue.<\/p>\n<p>There are other issues here too. Altering a surgical procedure in order to facilitate the acquisition of organs is, as New York University bioethicist Art Art Caplan <a title=\"Planned Parenthood exec, fetal body parts subject of controversial video\" href=\"http:\/\/edition.cnn.com\/2015\/07\/15\/health\/planned-parenthood-undercover-video\/\" target=\"_blank\">puts it<\/a>, a \u201cbig no-no.\u201d Not that Planned Parenthood has much of a track record when it comes to laws and ethics. In fact, I\u2019m really not surprised that Planned Parenthood would be fine with selling body parts. After all, they\u2019ve been selling out abuse victims for years.<\/p>\n<p>They did it to Denise Fairbanks. At sixteen, Fairbanks was brought to Planned Parenthood for an abortion by her incestuous father. As she would later recount in <a title=\"RESOLVED: Fairbanks v. Planned Parenthood\" href=\"http:\/\/lldf.org\/resolved-fairbanks-v-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">a lawsuit<\/span><\/u><\/a>, Fairbanks explicitly told clinic staff that her father had raped her. They responded by performing the abortion\u00a0and then\u00a0turning her back over to him.<\/p>\n<p>And that wasn\u2019t the only time Planned Parenthood helped an abuser hide his crimes. <a href=\"http:\/\/archive.lifenews.com\/state3469.html\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">Gary Cross<\/span><\/u><\/a> knew he had problem\u00a0when\u00a0he discovered that\u00a0his\u00a0thirteen year-old step daughter was pregnant. After her mother noticed\u00a0the girl\u00a0was gaining weight, Cross brought her to a Planned Parenthood facility. Staff there didn\u2019t\u00a0inform authorities that\u00a0the victim\u00a0was well\u00a0below the age of consent. Instead, they referred her for a late-term abortion. Cross continued to rape her for months thereafter.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.washingtontimes.com\/news\/2014\/jul\/11\/denver-lawsuit-accuses-abortion-clinic-not-reporti\/?page=all\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">Timothy Smith&#8217;s<\/span><\/u><\/a> step daughter received the same treatment. Thanks to the coverup abortion that Planned Parenthood performed, Smith was able to stay out of jail and keep up the abuse.<\/p>\n<p>Predators <a title=\"Ohio Planned Parenthood Abortion Center Sued Over Incest Case Coverup\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2007\/05\/10\/state-2279\/\" target=\"_blank\">John Blanks, Jr.<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.boston.com\/news\/local\/connecticut\/articles\/2007\/08\/02\/charges_added_in_alleged_abduction\/?camp=pm\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">Adam Gault<\/span><\/u><\/a> also got\u00a0assistance. Accused serial rapist <a title=\"Kost back in court for more abuse allegations\" href=\"http:\/\/www.trivalleycentral.com\/casa_grande_dispatch\/area_news\/kost-back-in-court-for-more-abuse-allegations\/article_5a7df3c6-2486-11e4-85aa-001a4bcf887a.html\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">Tyler Kost<\/span><\/u><\/a> seems to have as well. When one of his alleged victims went to Planned Parenthood for an abortion, staff told her that reporting the crime would involve too much effort. Law enforcement officials have said that an investigation could have been opened <a title=\"PCSO Report: Witness alleges Planned Parenthood didn't report assault\" href=\"http:\/\/www.azcentral.com\/story\/news\/local\/pinal\/2014\/05\/08\/pinal-deputies-allege-planned-parenthood-report-assault\/8837543\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">months before<\/span><\/u><\/a> if a report had been filed.<\/p>\n<p>So what type of a person would be heartless enough to help cover up child rape?\u00a0This type:<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"563\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/L9Zj9yx2j0Y?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>That\u2019s a video of former Planned Parenthood clinic director Amy Woodroof. In 2011 she was visited by Live Action investigators who\u00a0claimed to be pimps using underage prostitutes. Far from being outraged, she offered to do them a favor, saying, \u201cIf they\u2019re 14 and under, just send them right there if they need an abortion, OK?\u201d That they \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=riX50sOhAyk\">can\u2019t speak English<\/a>\u201d and \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=uj2XeLPRjns\">won\u2019t know what\u2019s going on<\/a>\u201d wasn\u2019t a problem for her.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action founder Lila Rose documented the same mentality in 2008. Rose told Planned Parenthood staff in Memphis that she was fourteen and pregnant via her thirty one year-old boyfriend. A counselor was ready to cover up the abuse, advising Rose to lie about her age when seeking an abortion. Trips to other facilities yielded\u00a0<a title=\"Sexual Abuse Coverup at Planned Parenthood\" href=\"http:\/\/liveaction.org\/monalisa\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">similar results<\/span><\/u><\/a>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qMlrAj4v4J4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>After reading all of this,\u00a0do you\u00a0feel like giving money to Planned Parenthood? If\u00a0not, then I&#8217;ve got some bad news: you already are. Every year, Planned Parenthood receives over\u00a0<a title=\"Planned Parenthood receives record amount of taxpayer support\" href=\"http:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/2013\/01\/08\/planned-parenthood-receives-record-amount-taxpayer-support\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u><span style=\"color: #0066cc;\">half a billion<\/span><\/u><\/a> dollars in federal funding.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to see that change, you&#8217;re not alone: Live Action has created a petition urging Congress to hold\u00a0Planned Parenthood accountable and end its nine figure subsidy.
