The only apology Richards\u00a0issued, however,\u00a0was for the tone of voice used by\u00a0Senior Director of Medical Services Deborah Nucatola in the undercover video, where Nucatola\u00a0discusses the sale of aborted baby parts.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=dZUjU4e4fUI]<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In the video, Richards downplayed\u00a0the undercover investigation\u00a0as \u00a0a plot from people set on stopping abortion, saying\u00a0&#8220;we will never let that happen.&#8221; Richards also sent the video to her mailing list, urging for donations to sustain the group through this time.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-medium wp-image-66875 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.liveactionnews.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/FullSizeRender11-260x300.jpg\" alt=\"FullSizeRender(1)\" width=\"260\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/FullSizeRender11-260x300.jpg 260w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/FullSizeRender11-606x700.jpg 606w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/FullSizeRender11.jpg 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 260px) 100vw, 260px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Richards\u00a0condemns\u00a0the video as being &#8220;heavily edited,&#8221; but she never acknowledges the full, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=H4UjIM9B9KQ\">almost three-hour, unedited video<\/a> and its <a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/PPFAtranscript072514_final.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">corresponding transcript<\/a>, which\u00a0are available for\u00a0public viewing.<\/p>\n<p>In the midst of statements touting Planned Parenthood&#8217;s health care services, Richards also fails to\u00a0explain that in reality, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s product is abortion. Health\u00a0services for\u00a0women have been continually cut under her\u00a0leadership.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I want to be really clear. The allegation that Planned Parenthood profits in any way from tissue donation is not true. Our donation programs, like any other high quality health care providers, follows [sic] all laws and ethical guidelines.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our top priority is the compassionate care that we provide.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Richards emphasized it is always the patient&#8217;s choice to donate tissue; however, as some analysts have noted, the consent forms patients sign are not clear enough to explain that abortionists allegedly\u00a0manipulate the child in order to obtain\u00a0intact\u00a0body parts.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/PP-Mar-Monte-tissue-consent.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">This consent from Planned Parenthood Mar Monte,<\/a> a profitable California affiliate, simply indicates &#8220;blood and\/or the tissue&#8221; as donations.
