I\u2019ve increased the bandwidth, so hopefully that won\u2019t happen again.<\/p>\n<p>Moving on,\u00a0Planned Parenthood\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hotair.com\/archives\/2015\/07\/14\/planned-parenthood-responds-nucatolas-just-talking-about-reimbursements\/\">has responded<\/a>\u00a0to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/2015\/07\/planned-parenthood-body-parts\/\">explosive charges<\/a>\u00a0that it is selling aborted baby parts:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Statement from\u00a0Eric Ferraro,\u00a0Vice President of Communications,\u00a0Planned Parenthood Federation of America:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cIn health care, patients sometimes want to donate tissue to scientific research that can help lead to medical breakthroughs, treatments and cures for serious diseases. Women at Planned Parenthood who have abortions are no different. At several of our health centers, we help patients who want to donate tissue for scientific research, and we do this just like every other high-quality health care provider does \u2013\u00a0with full, appropriate consent from patients and under the highest ethical and legal standards.\u00a0There is no financial benefit for tissue donation for either the patient or Planned Parenthood.\u00a0In some instances, actual costs, such as the cost to transport tissue to leading research centers, are reimbursed, which is standard across the medical field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">\u201cA well-funded group established for the purpose of damaging Planned Parenthood\u2019s mission and services has promoted a heavily edited, secretly recorded videotape that falsely portrays Planned Parenthood\u2019s participation in tissue donation programs that support lifesaving scientific research. Similar false accusations have been put forth by opponents of abortion services for decades. These groups have been widely discredited and their claims fall apart on closer examination, just as they do in this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>But just as quickly as it scrambled\u00a0to defend itself,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/2015\/07\/cmp-statement-in-reply-to-planned-parenthoods-cover-up-of-baby-parts-sales\/\">The Center for Medical Progress<\/a><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>(which has crashed a couple times today due to traffic)\u00a0released evidence Planned Parenthood was LYING:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Planned Parenthood makes two key admissions in their statement today: 1) aborted fetal parts are harvested at their clinics, and 2) money is exchanged in connection with this. They also tell several lies: 1) That proper consent is obtained from patients, 2) That Planned Parenthood does not make money off the body parts, and 3) that everything is legal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The Center for Medical Progress has obtained an advertisement to Planned Parenthood clinics (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/StemExpress-flyer.pdf\">http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/StemExpress-flyer.pdf<\/a>) from StemExpress, LLC, one of the major purchasers of Planned Parenthood\u2019s aborted fetal tissue. This flyer advertises 4 different times the financial benefit that Planned Parenthood clinics can receive from supplying fetal tissue, with the words: \u201c<strong>Financially Profitable<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>Financial Profits<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>financial benefit to your clinic<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>fiscal growth of your own clinic<\/strong>.\u201d The advertisement carries an endorsement from Planned Parenthood Medical Director Dr. Dorothy Furgerson.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">None of this is standard across the mainstream medical field, but it is standard across Planned Parenthood\u2019s insular and unaccountable abortion field.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>I have cut and pasted the key phrases from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/StemExpress-flyer.pdf\">linked flyer<\/a>:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-186766\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/2015-07-14_1544.png\" alt=\"2015-07-14_1544\" width=\"525\" height=\"380\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The brochure, made by Stem Express, appears\u00a0specifically tailored\u00a0for distribution to Planned Parenthood abortion clinics. It includes an endorsement of the company by \u201cDr. Dorothy Furgerson, Planned Parenthood Mar Monte.\u201d Furgerson is\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-mar-monte\/who-we-are\/management-team-board\">Chief Medical Officer<\/a>\u00a0of this PP affiliate, which is in\u00a0California.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-186782\" title=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/2015-07-15_0714h-e1436963189951.png\" alt=\"2015-07-15_0714h\" width=\"225\" height=\"197\" \/>The brochure several times touts profits as an incentive to \u201cpartner\u201d with Stem Express, a company that buys and sells aborted baby parts (and whose\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stemexpress.com\/\">website is suddenly this morning went into \u201cMaintenance Mode.\u201d<\/a>) \u2013 \u201cFinancially Profitable,\u201d \u201cfiscally rewards clinics,\u201d \u201cFinancial Profits,\u201d \u201cfinancial benefit to your clinic,\u201d \u201cfiscal growth of your own clinic.\u201d It cannot be parsed any other way than there is money to be made trafficking aborted baby parts.<\/p>\n<p>And the company was wooing, at least in part, Planned Parenthood affiliates.<\/p>\n<p>(<em>Editor&#8217;s Note: This article first appeared at\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.jillstanek.com\/2015\/07\/planned-parenthoods-response-quickly-exposed-huge-lie\/#sthash.M43vmMGM.dpuf\">JillStanek.com<\/a>, and is reprinted here with permission.\u00a0<\/em>)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>(JillStanek.com) To begin, sorry, my blog crashed several times yesterday due to traffic.
