Jindal has called for a state investigation\u00a0into all Planned Parenthood operations in the state of Louisiana.<\/p>\n<p>The abortion giant is\u00a0currently in process of building a $4.2 million, 8,000 sq. ft. abortion center in New\u00a0Orleans. For now, that\u2019s on hold, Jindal said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis same organization is seeking to open an abortion clinic in New Orleans. I have\u00a0instructed Louisiana\u2019s Department of Health and Hospitals to conduct an immediate\u00a0investigation into this alleged evil and illegal activity and to not issue any licenses\u00a0until this investigation is complete. I am also asking the FBI to assist DHH in\u00a0investigating this alleged criminal activity by this organization.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The horrifying video reveals, \u201cPlanned Parenthood Federation of America\u2019s Senior\u00a0Director of Medical Services, Dr. Deborah Nucatola, describing how Planned\u00a0Parenthood sells the body parts of aborted fetuses, and admitting she uses partial-birth abortions to supply intact body parts,\u201d the press release from The Center for\u00a0Medical Progress says. And this act, which is illegal, is also morally abhorrent.<\/p>\n<p>Former Texas Governor Rick Perry, who has\u00a0taken both stands for life and his political career, expressed equal anger.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, Perry said: \u00a0\u201cThe video showing a Planned Parenthood employee selling the body parts of\u00a0aborted children is a disturbing reminder of the organization\u2019s penchant for\u00a0profiting off the tragedy of a destroyed human life. It is because of stories like this\u00a0that I signed legislation defunding Planned Parenthood in the state of Texas \u2013 to\u00a0protect human life and the health and safety of Texans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And Texas Senator Ted Cruz, also a presidential candidate, issued this statement:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Today&#8217;s news regarding allegations that Planned Parenthood is possibly selling the\u00a0body parts of the babies it has aborted is sickening.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;There is no place for taxpayer funding of organizations that profit from taking away\u00a0innocent life, much less profiting off the bodies of the lives they have stolen.\u00a0Congress should immediately begin an investigation of Planned Parenthood&#8217;s\u00a0activities regarding the sale and transfer of aborted body parts, including who is\u00a0obtaining them and what they are being used for. And it should renew efforts to fully\u00a0defund Planned Parenthood to ensure that its morally bankrupt business receives\u00a0not one penny of taxpayer money.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;I proudly stand on the side of life and remain committed to fighting for all innocent\u00a0life to be valued and protected under the laws of this nation.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>While those who know the work of Planned Parenthood, are not fully surprised by\u00a0this horrific revelation, the boldness of an organization to allegedly violate federal\u00a0law in order to profit off the shedding of innocent blood is abhorrent.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, Planned Parenthood cannot defend itself of these charges, there will be\u00a0some severe penalties. Federal law prohibits selling fetal parts for profit. Planned\u00a0Parenthood has defended itself by alleging it is not selling baby parts for profit, but is\u00a0simply facilitating the legal donation of fetal tissue. The evidence against Planned Parenthood suggests that it is, indeed, selling\u00a0baby parts.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action President Lila Rose said this investigation only supports evidence\u00a0Live Action has\u00a0uncovered about Planned Parenthood for\u00a0years.\u00a0Rose\u00a0called for Congress to immediately stop all taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis investigation by the Center for Medical Progress reveals the unimaginable\u00a0horror that is Planned Parenthood. The exploitation of human life, the cover-up, and\u00a0the black market profiteering by America\u2019s largest abortion chain is not only\u00a0egregious and heartbreaking, but exposes how the abortion giant is corrupt to the\u00a0core \u2014 from the CEO, Cecile Richards, down to the local clinic.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;As Live Action has\u00a0investigated through the years, Planned Parenthood\u2019s barbaric practices reveal their\u00a0contempt for rule of law and human life. This latest expose of Planned Parenthood\u2019s\u00a0trafficking of baby parts for profit should be the final nail in the coffin for the\u00a0abortion giant.
