{"id":65829,"date":"2015-07-03T12:06:08","date_gmt":"2015-07-03T16:06:08","guid":{"rendered":"\/news\/?p=65829"},"modified":"2015-07-03T11:24:35","modified_gmt":"2015-07-03T15:24:35","slug":"pro-abortion-woman-throws-pro-life-signs-from-bridge-new-mexico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pro-abortion-woman-throws-pro-life-signs-from-bridge-new-mexico\/","title":{"rendered":"Pro-abortion woman throws pro-life signs from bridge in New Mexico"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>Life News <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lifenews.com\/2015\/07\/02\/abortion-activists-assault-pro-lifers-throws-their-signs-off-highway-overpass\/\">reports<\/a> that pro-abortion passerby and her son attacked a group of pro-lifers in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this week, throwing both their signs and a member\u2019s cell phone off an overpass.<\/p>\n<p>[youtube https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=ci7zzb3-u5s&amp;w=560&amp;h=315]<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bud Shaver, a member of the local pro-life group Protest ABQ, told Life News that members have a weekly practice of holding signs above the road \u201cto peacefully expose the violence that abortion inflicts on pre-born children in the womb.\u201d In video the group captured of the Wednesday incident, a woman approached the protestors, grabbing some of the signs and angrily condemning them for \u201cshowing gross, indecent images when children are coming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One member protested that she was stealing, to which the woman replied, \u201cI\u2019ll tell you what, I\u2019ll leave the signs right here for you,\u201d and threw them off the overpass. Shaver notes that the signs had an impact on the woman\u2019s son, who responded, \u201cLook at that dead baby, somebody killed that,\u201d but ultimately \u201cfollow[ed] the example of his mother and join[ed] in the attack.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Protest ABQ reported the incident to the police, but the perpetrators remain unidentified. According to Shaver, \u201cBoth the woman and her son were sporting local Sandia Preparatory School apparel.\u201d At their website, the group <a href=\"http:\/\/www.protestabq.com\/blog\/pro-life-activists-attacked-signs-thrown-from-overpass\">encourages<\/a> anyone who recognizes them to email Tara Shaver at tara@defendinglife.org.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Life News reports that pro-abortion passerby and her son attacked a group of pro-lifers in Albuquerque, New Mexico, this week, throwing both their signs and a member\u2019s cell phone off an overpass.
