Indiana abortionist Ulrich Klopfer has failed to convince the state\u2019s Medical Licensing Board to throw out the charges against him, according to<\/a> the South Bend Tribune.<\/p>\n

Live Action News has recently reported<\/a> that the Klopfer case revolves around close to two thousand charges of filing late, incomplete, or erroneous reports, including failure to report multiple statutory rapes of thirteen-year-old girls, as well as repeat safety and sanitary violations and failure to keep emergency equipment in working order or follow the state\u2019s 18-hour waiting period.<\/p>\n

Klopfer sought a summary dismissal of the charges from the board, contending just two \u201chonest mistakes\u201d on his part and many more subjective interpretations of various regulations on the state\u2019s. However, all four voting members of the panel decided against him (with a fifth declining to vote due to her partial absence from the proceedings), setting the stage for a full hearing later in the year. Live Action previously noted that Friendship Family Planning, Klopfer\u2019s Gary, IN clinic, opted to shut down rather than await the findings of this week\u2019s hearing.<\/p>\n

The Tribune also notes that the board is also considering the licenses of three additional abortionists in Indianapolis for similar misconduct, and has denied their requests for summary judgment as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
