They should be prosecuting all of us.\u201d<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Northern Ireland prohibits abortion in all cases except for a threat to the mother\u2019s life. In response, the Northern Ireland Police Service\u2019s Detective Superintendent, Andrea McMullan, said law enforcement was \u201cassessing\u201d the letter\u2019s contents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would depend on the specific circumstances of an incident as to whether or not an offence has been committed and each case would be investigated on its own merit,\u201d McMullan said of potential legal actions based on the letter. \u201cThe taking of any prescription drug is potentially harmful if used without appropriate medical supervision.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifesitenews.com\/news\/northern-irelands-attorney-general-defends-anti-abortion-law-in-court\">LifeSiteNews reported<\/a> that John Larkin, Northern Ireland\u2019s Attorney General, fiercely defended its right to treat the killing of preborn humans as equivalent to post-birth homicide regardless of international treaties or declarations.<\/p>\n<p>In 2012, Larkin made the case that, \u201cIf one is prepared to contemplate the destruction of a highly disabled, unborn child in the womb, one should also be prepared to contemplate, I think, putting a bullet in the back of the head of the child two days after it&#8217;s born.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over 200 female pro-abortion protestors associated with Alliance for Choice have sent a letter to Northern Ireland\u2019s Public Prosecution Service daring the government to arrest them for defying the country\u2019s pro-life laws, Reuters reports.
