1.\u00a0 “Thank you, Planned Parenthood. God bless you.” – President Barack Obama<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Attempting to call down God’s support on an organization that routinely destroys and discards human beings is not exactly a wise move. Especially not when you’re referring to the God Who said in Deuteronomy 30:19:<\/p>\n

This day…I have set before you life and death…Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.
\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

2.\u00a0 “When you see how closed their minds are or oblivious or whatever it is \u2014 dumb \u2014 then you know what the fight is about.” – House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking of closed minds, which side is it that ignores – and sometimes even denies – the solid science<\/a> that tells us, time and again, that a new, unique, living human being begins her life at the moment of fertilization?<\/p>\n

It’s far more likely that ignoring, glazing over, and otherwise pretending to be blinded to scientific fact is what’s truly “dumb.”<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

3. New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio went on a campaign rant about pregnancy centers, calling them “sham” clinics without “legitimate health care.” It was reported that his goal was to “help abortionists find neighborhoods that lack convenient clinic access and provide them with ‘city sponsored’ space to set up shop.” – Mayor Bill de Blasio<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

So unless a clinic is willing to end the life of a baby, it doesn’t provide “legitimate health care”? That’s some definition of health care.<\/p>\n

It’s always ironic when pro-abortion politicians complain that crisis pregnancy centers don’t meet medical standards while they vehemently object to abortion clinics being inspected or held to surgical center standards. Doublespeak, anyone?<\/p>\n

And that’s not even going into the taxpayer funding of abortion Mayor de Blasio was discussing…a big no-no when you ask the voters<\/a>, or any humane human, really.<\/p>\n

4. “I know that some people were a bit appalled at walking through the demonstrators [who were holding up graphic posters of abortion] as you came to this lunch. It is a discomfort when you\u2019re coming to lunch…” – Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Yes, in the same way that I imagine the S.S. had a difficult time eating their steak and potato lunches after smelling the fumes from the gas chambers.<\/p>\n

5. “Electing pro-choice Republican women can help foster a discussion that reflects the full spectrum of views and can lead to a more balanced and responsible public dialogue.” – Hawaii Governor Linda Lingle<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Pro-choice<\/p>\n

Ok, wait – how would a pro-choice Republican woman and a pro-choice Democrat woman have a “balanced” conversation on abortion? They have the same viewpoint<\/em>. That’s neither “balanced” nor “responsible.” That’s pro-abortion.<\/p>\n

And for an idea of just how irresponsible abortion is, take a look inside the abortion industry itself<\/a>.<\/p>\n

6. “I have met thousands and thousands of pro-choice men and women. I have never met anyone who is pro-abortion.” – Secretary of State Hillary Clinton<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m not sure it can be said enough that if you support the option of abortion, you support abortion. If you support abortion, you are pro-abortion.<\/a> Is it really that hard to admit that you support the killing of an innocent, living human being?<\/p>\n

Of course, I can see how it would be.<\/p>\n

7. “I\u2019ve got two daughters, 9 years old and 6 years old.\u00a0 I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don\u2019t want them punished with a baby.” – President Barack Obama<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

A couple notes to our dear president: a) Babies aren’t punishments; they’re gifts – if not to your daughters, to someone who is on an adoption waiting list who absolutely<\/em> wants them. b) We don’t kill an innocent person to cover for our “mistakes.” In fact, that’s a pretty dangerous moral to teach your daughters. Applying it at any other time in life would get them imprisoned.<\/p>\n

8. “Pennsylvania Republican Rick Santorum asked Democrats Russ Feingold of Wisconsin and Frank Lautenberg of New Jersey this: ‘Suppose during an attempted partial-birth abortion the infant, instead of being just almost delivered, with only a few inches of skull remaining in the birth canal, slips entirely out of the canal. Is killing the born baby still a “choice”?’ Feingold and Lautenberg said it was still a matter between a mother and her abortionist.” – Senators Russ Feingold and Frank Lautenberg<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Preemie,<\/p>\n

Need anything more be said to explain the slippery slope “pro-choice” leads us down? If it’s purely about “choice” and not life first, what exactly is to stop a mother from killing her child anytime after birth?<\/p>\n

Birth is really not that magical.<\/p>\n

9. “[A] moderator asked Democratic senator Mark Udall the following question: ‘We know that you support a woman’s right to choose, but given the advances in scientific understanding of fetal development, where pregnant mothers know at which week babies grow fingernails and can swallow, would you support a ban on late-term abortions and if so at what week?’ … ‘To demand that that woman carry that child to term would be a form of government intervention that none of us want to see happen. We ought to respect the women of Colorado and their point of view,’ Udall said.” – Senator Mark Udall<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Oh yes, because “demanding” that one person who is responsible for the creation of another person refrain from killing that person would simply be too much government intervention.<\/p>\n

Udall illustrates the extreme lengths to which the pro-abortion position travels – even when a baby is unquestionably, scientifically, visibly human<\/a>, even when a baby can live on her own outside the womb – the mother’s right to kill that baby still<\/em> matters more.<\/p>\n

10. “Interestingly, today, the Senate voted to confirm Judge Alito to the Supreme Court where he will likely hear cases involving a woman\u2019s health very soon.\u00a0 It is my hope that he follows the path of his predecessor, Justice O\u2019Connor, by supporting the compromise created by Roe and Casey, rather than putting his personal views above the law.” – Senator Dianne Feinstein <\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Can anyone remind me how Roe <\/em>and Casey<\/em> – which set up abortion on demand throughout the entire country – were a “compromise”? And can anyone figure out exactly how those<\/em> judges weren’t putting their “personal views above the law” and above science and reason and basic human decency<\/a>?<\/p>\n

Yeah, didn’t think so.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, pro-abortion politicians too often refuse to see or acknowledge the facts of life that are literally staring them right in the face. It’s impossible to live in modern society and deny that the preborn baby is a living human being.<\/p>\n
