You\u2019d think women would be sick of it by now, but day after day, liberals try to remind everyone \u2013 in a passive-aggressive sort of way \u2013 that they own women.<\/p>\n

Strong words, I know.<\/p>\n

And yet, what else does it say when liberals cry on political ad after political ad that there is a war being waged on women in the U.S.? And that this war consists of little more than a partial lack of completely free birth control? Oh yes\u2026and of those who would like to stop mothers from hiring doctors to kill their unborn babies.<\/p>\n

Liberals attempt to whip women into a frenzy over these non-issues to buy their votes. (We see how well that worked this year’s midterm elections.) They proclaim from the rooftops that women are \u201cowed\u201d free birth control as if it\u2019s the birthright of all women everywhere. They blatantly lie about pro-lifers, claiming that we don\u2019t see women as whole, equal, and unique people.<\/p>\n

Very little that\u2019s claimed in the \u201cwar on women\u201d rhetoric is accurate or helpful. The truth is that women do not need to claim their rights by spilling the blood of their innocent children. We are not \u201cempowered\u201d by walking over the bodies of our babies to obtain position and wealth and knowledge.<\/p>\n

The truth is that abortion is violent, inhumane, uncivilized, and tragic. The truth is that ending abortion will bring equality to men, women, and children, instead of exalting women high above all other forms of human life. Women should be equal, absolutely. But we are not more deserving of rights and privileges than the rest of humanity.<\/p>\n

We do not have the \u201cright\u201d to kill our children simply because we are women. Women\u2019s rights to privacy, autonomy, and the like have not earned us a \u201cget out of jail free\u201d card when it comes to ending the lives of our children.<\/p>\n

And despite what liberals would have women believe, they do not own us. Here in the U.S., there is no war on women. Instead, it is our sisters in Iraq, Afghanistan, India, and China who truly suffer from a war on women. We find it disgusting and offensive when an employer who objects to paying for abortion or abortifacient birth control is put in the same category as those who gang rape, forcibly sterilize, stone, and dump acid on women around the world.<\/p>\n

Thank you very much, liberals, but we women have intelligent brains, and you\u2019re not selling us on the message that America or conservatives are waging a war on us. Stop blabbing on about nonsense, and start talking about the real tragedies faced by women the world over.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s talk about real solutions to the rights that women are lacking across the globe, instead of wasting our time calling a \u201chello\u201d from a man \u201cstreet harassment<\/a>.<\/a>\u201d Even if we bought your claim that verbal street harassment endangers American women, we\u2019re far more concerned about our sisters who can\u2019t walk down a Kenyan street without getting raped or our sisters who can\u2019t refuse to marry a man without being subjected to an \u201chonor killing\u201d in the Middle East. We\u2019re far more concerned about our sisters around the world who are being forced into child marriages and sex slavery. If you want to talk harassment, let\u2019s talk harassment.<\/p>\n

You must think you own us, because you think you get to choose which women count \u2013 notably, only the ones who vote for your candidates<\/a><\/a>. You think that you can object to the mathematical fact that the majority of women voted for Greg Abbott instead of Wendy Davis for Texas governor.<\/p>\n

You reason that, since the majority of black and Hispanic women voted for Davis, it\u2019s inaccurate to claim that the majority of all women combined voted for Abbott\u2026even though 54% of all women in Texas, when all races are combined, voted for Abbott. So since white Texas women don\u2019t fit your paradigm, you say they \u201cfailed.\u201d Simply for not being liberal, women fail?<\/p>\n

Liberals, you don\u2019t get to define who women are, you don\u2019t get to choose who\u2019s a \u201creal woman,\u201d and you don\u2019t get to manufacture your own facts. You don\u2019t own us like that. And you don\u2019t own facts like that. We aren\u2019t slaves to your ideology; we aren\u2019t subject to your latest whim.<\/p>\n
