Sebelius,\u00a0<\/i>has been circling in the media for a very long time,\u00a0and the Supreme Court dragged it out by waiting until the last possible day they could decide on it (today). Google it and you&#8217;ll be presented with\u00a0over 23 million results.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-51296\" src=\"\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/HLC.png\" alt=\"Hobby Lobby Case search results\" width=\"722\" height=\"157\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/HLC.png 722w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/HLC-300x65.png 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/HLC-700x152.png 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 722px) 100vw, 722px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The case may seem confusing, because Obamacare (aka the Affordable Care Act) is confusing. But believe it or not, the science behind Hobby Lobby&#8217;s lawsuit is\u00a0<em>not confusing<\/em>. In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=eimmEBCJNSc\">this simplistic video<\/a> explains in under 3 minutes why the company&#8217;s owners have a problem with being forced to cover free emergency contraception in their employees&#8217; benefits packages:<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eimmEBCJNSc\" width=\"550\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video, produced by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pop.org\/\">Population Research Institute<\/a>, explains the easy-to-understand fact that emergency contraception (such as Plan B) has the very real ability to <a href=\"\/news\/studies-show-all-forms-of-emergency-contraception-cause-abortion\/\">cause abortion<\/a>. Hobby Lobby&#8217;s owners take issue with being forced to pay for abortion. Media have incessantly claimed that this lawsuit reflects a desire by Hobby Lobby&#8217;s owners to enforce their religious beliefs on their employees.
