This apparently did not happen. There are two other pending complaints against Dr. Klopfer in Lake and St Joe County for not reporting abortions on girls under 14.<\/p>\n<p>Today a Fort Wayne man is facing child-molesting charges after he allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl. Police state that Ronte L. Latham, 21, met the victim while he was working at the Weisser Park Youth Center. Latham told police he did not know the girl\u2019s age and did not ask how old she was. Latham confirmed to police that he and the victim met while he was working at the Weisser Park Youth Center, but he didn\u2019t talk to her at that point, \u201cas it was not allowed to be that way with the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The 13-year-old girl became pregnant and had an abortion in February 2013. Allen County Right to Life was aware of this 13-year-old girl having an abortion (non-identifying information only on her) and the abortionist not reporting it. This is the 13-year-old child whom Allen County Right to Life reported back in Sept 2013 for Dr. Klopfer\u00a0not following Indiana Law and reporting it.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is precisely why child sexual abuse must be reported by the abortionist when a child conceives as a result of a rape and the baby is aborted,&#8221; said Cathie Humbarger, Executive Director of Allen County Right to Life. &#8220;The perpetrators are protected when these horrific acts of sexual abuse targeting children when proper reporting does not occur or is delayed. \u00a0\u00a0Reporting as required by Indiana State Law should prompt an immediate investigation by authorities.\u00a0 It is unclear if reporting laws were followed in this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>During an interview with police, the victim said Latham, who was 19 at the time they had sex, knew how old she was.
