The abortion-supporting\u00a0media outlets recently had a messy collision<\/a> with Senator Marco Rubio over his assertions about climate and life science<\/a>. Rubio questioned why the same people who touted climate data as settled science often ignore the scientific facts about life when it comes to the abortion debate.<\/p>\n

Rubio said in an appearance on Fox News’s\u00a0Hannity <\/em>program:<\/p>\n

All these people always wag their finger at me about ‘science’ and ‘settled science.’ Let me give you a bit of settled science that they’ll never admit to. Science is settled, it’s not even a consensus, it is a unanimity, that human life begins at conception. So I hope the next time that someone wags their finger about science, they’ll ask one of these leaders on the left: ‘Do you agree with the consensus of scientists that say that human life begins at conception?’ I’d like to see someone ask that question.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

<\/p>\n

Looks as though major\u00a0media is practicing science-denial \u00e0 la\u00a0Roe v. Wade<\/em>,\u00a0the highly controversial 1973 court case that legalized abortion on demand in the United States, which stated in its majority decision<\/a>\u00a0(emphasis added):<\/p>\n

Texas urges that, apart from the Fourteenth Amendment, life begins at conception and is present throughout pregnancy, and that, therefore, the State has a compelling interest in protecting that life from and after conception. We need not resolve the difficult question of when life begins.<\/strong> When those trained in the respective disciplines of medicine, philosophy, and theology<\/strong> are unable to arrive at any consensus, the judiciary, at this point in the development of man’s knowledge, is not in a position to speculate as to the answer<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

For the record, “man’s knowledge” was as developed on the reality of life beginning at conception<\/a> (aka fertilization) then as it is now. But science was not convenient for those seeking to legalize abortion, so they resorted to a cop-out and placed the burden of proof on an unprecedented consensus among three fields of study, all the facets of which will never converge at a unanimous answer to any one question…ever.<\/p>\n

The media loves to bring\u00a0“science” into almost every debate but can’t touch the basic question of when life begins with a ten-foot pole. Double-standard? Marco Rubio believes so.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
