Photo by AJ Guel.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Houston Texans player Arian Foster, who is married with two children, is <\/span><a style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.khou.com\/sports\/Woman-claims-Texans-Arian-Foster-is-pressuring-her-to-abort-his-baby--240009001.html\">being sued<\/a><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\"> by Brittany Norwood, a University of Houston student who claims that Foster fathered her child and is now pressuring her to have an abortion. She is suing for emotional distress after allegedl yhaving received many threatening texts from Foster and having been approached by his brother, who also tried to pressure the woman into aborting the child. According to the local CBS affiliate:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Norwood said everything changed when she told Foster she was pregnant and wanted to keep the baby.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He\u2019s like, \u2018You can\u2019t have this, you can\u2019t have this kid, like, we cannot bring a child into this, like, think about my kids,\u2019&#8221; Norwood said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>She said Foster\u2019s brother, Abdul, also sent messages.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He\u2019s like, \u2018You know, if you loved Arian at all you would have an abortion because this child is going to ruin everything,\u2019&#8221; Norwood said. &#8220;\u2019Like, our whole family will never accept this child.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The question of paternity has been settled, according to the woman, who <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2014\/01\/13\/arian-foster-abortion-baby-mother-lawsuit-brother\/?adid=hero2\">claims<\/a> that a DNA test has confirmed the 99% probability that Foster is the father of the child.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"\/news\/25-of-women-who-have-abortions-are-also-abused-study-finds\/\">recent study<\/a> by King&#8217;s College in London found that around 25% of women who seek abortions are abused by their partners. This includes the type of psychological abuse for which Norwood is suing Foster.
