The man then threatened the woman with a home abortion while he brandished a knife.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>McClarrin was arrested and jailed early Sunday morning after the incident. According to\u00a0<em>The Sentinel, <\/em>McClarrin is due for his preliminary hearing on January 8. Until then, he remains in custody.\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/cumberlink.com\/news\/state-and-regional\/police-pa-man-punched-pregnant-woman-in-chest-threatened-home\/article_6697d450-723a-11e3-8bba-001a4bcf887a.html\">The Sentinel<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>reports:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">The (Oil City) Derrick reports Franklin police were called after McClarrin allegedly &#8220;backhanded&#8221; the woman \u2014 who is four-and-a-half months pregnant \u2014 and dragged her out of bed by her ankle before punching her stomach with a closed fist.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Police say McClarrin also brandished a knife as he threatened the woman with the abortion.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Last year <a href=\"\/news\/abc-segment-features-woman-unknowingly-given-abortion-drugs-boyfriend\/\">a Florida man<\/a> caused his pregnant girlfriend to miscarry their child after giving her an abortifacient drug that he told her was an antibiotic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Pennsylvania man, Kelton McClarrin, has been charged with aggravated assault on an unborn child and terroristic threats after punching a hitting a pregnant woman, dragging her out of bed, and punching her in the stomach while she was about 18 weeks pregnant.
