I like to think that I have a\u00a0fairly diverse circle of friends. After all, my social scene cuts widely across racial, religious, gender, and sexual lines. But while my associates may vary by color and creed, they tend to be pretty similar in their political and social outlook. So, in the interests of broadening my horizons, I recently\u00a0visited\u00a0some\u00a0left-wing feminist websites and asked their members\u00a0why they felt that their views were justified. Their answers usually looked like this:<\/p>\n

Occasionally, though, I would get a more thoughtful reply,\u00a0with the respondent talking about the problems of misogyny, sex-trafficking,\u00a0and general threats of violence that women face.<\/p>\n

Feminist writer Meghan Murphy<\/a> appears to spend a lot of time on these issues. As the founder of Feminist Current<\/a>,\u00a0she has written\u00a0about them\u00a0extensively.\u00a0Meghan also favors free access<\/a> to publicly funded abortions. What she doesn\u2019t seem to realize is that for those who\u00a0practice misogyny and violence, abortion is just another tool of the trade.<\/p>\n

You may not\u00a0know who\u00a0Tucker Max<\/a>\u00a0is, but if you do, then you also\u00a0know that there isn\u2019t much to go over. He\u2019s the bestselling author <\/a>of such works as I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell<\/em> and Assholes Finish First <\/em>– volumes that chronicle his interest in getting drunk, having sex, and calling women \u201cslutty whores<\/a>.\u201d\u00a0Tucker does, however, share something in common with Ms. Murphy. Like her<\/a>, he\u2019s a fan of abortion on demand, explaining that<\/a>\u00a0he\u00a0has “accumulated enough stories and anecdotes about abortion that they could name a Planned Parenthood clinic after me.\u201d<\/p>\n

As\u00a0he freely admits, having drunken, unprotected sex with random women\u00a0often results in\u00a0new lives\u00a0being created. Thankfully, Tucker has a convenient way to avoid supporting his\u00a0children: he kills them. In fact, one of the chapters of his second book is actually called \u201cTucker Max: Baby Killer<\/a>,\u201d and it recounts the many occasions on which he has paid to have his\u00a0kids sliced up and sucked out<\/a>.<\/p>\n

So, being the forthright character that he is,\u00a0Tucker makes no secret of\u00a0how Planned Parenthood and the U.S. taxpayer<\/a> are essential enablers of his lifestyle.\u00a0He tried to show his gratitude to the group in 2012 through a\u00a0half-million-dollar\u00a0donation<\/a>, but for some reason Planned Parenthood didn\u2019t want to be associated with\u00a0this particular frequent customer.<\/p>\n

Now, you might\u00a0imagine that these self-described feminists would have second thoughts about a policy that helps Tucker and his friends use women like disposable commodities<\/a>. If\u00a0you\u00a0imagined this,\u00a0you\u00a0were wrong<\/a>. Further, the fact that legal, subsidized abortion is\u00a0also an aid to pimps and predators doesn\u2019t seem to change their minds, either.<\/p>\n
