\"\"<\/a>As residents of Albuquerque, New Mexico prepare to vote on a groundbreaking fetal pain ordinance on Nov. 19, Live Action today released a new investigative video<\/a> that exposes the gruesome particulars of the late-term abortion procedure and the sleazy business side of the abortion industry.<\/p>\n

The video, titled \u201cProfits from Pain,\u201d features a new investigative recording from the notorious late-term abortion facility Southwestern Women\u2019s Options. Live Action previously exposed<\/a> this abortion facility\u2019s gruesome and negligent practices<\/a> in this past summer\u2019s Inhuman<\/i> investigation.<\/p>\n

In the Nov. 8, 2013 recording, a Live Action investigator schedules a 25-week abortion \u2013 a \u201cweek-long procedure.\u201d When the investigator expresses shock at the abortion\u2019s cost \u2013 $8,000 \u2013 the facility\u2019s staffer sympathizes: \u201cAre you still in your chair?\u201d She follows up with a warning: \u201cevery week that goes by, the fee goes up by another thousand dollars[.]\u201d<\/p>\n

Live Action hopes to alert Americans \u2013 who, polls consistently show, vehemently oppose late-term abortion \u2013 to the abortion industry\u2019s \u201crabid and extremist\u201d opposition to any and all industry regulations.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis facility is only one of the worst examples of the abortion industry\u2019s complete disregard for basic human rights,\u201d Lila Rose, Live Action\u2019s president, explained.\u00a0 “Babies shot through the heart with poison, mothers left to deliver their dead children in an empty hotel room.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf Cecile Richards thought Albuquerque was a winning issue,\u201d Rose continued, \u201cshe would be trying to make money on it.\u00a0 But Planned Parenthood\u2019s fundraising e-mails are silent on this.\u00a0 It takes a truly fringe mentality to advocate for more privileges for abortionists in the face of the blatant negligence and contempt for women on display in Albuquerque.\u00a0 And yet we have senators and congressmen in Washington, bought and paid for by Planned Parenthood, trying to mainstream this gruesome reality.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rose was referring to a new piece of legislation, the putative Women\u2019s Health and Safety Act of 2013, intended to federally nullify all abortion regulations<\/a> nationwide, from sanitation standards to waiting periods to building code regulations.<\/p>\n
