Promoting life and family in the nations is the goal of next week\u2019s event sponsored by Alliance Defending Freedom and Incluyendo Mexico. This United Nations Side Event “Life and Family: A Real Approach to the Millennium Development Goals,<\/a>\u201d seeks to offer information that will help strengthen a focus toward life as the UN strives to reach its Millennium Development Goals.<\/a><\/p>\n

The September 19 event which exists to \u201ccreate awareness among decision makers about the immutability of fundamental human rights and how this is best accomplished with Millennium Development Goals\u201d will consist of participation by delegates, dignitaries and members of the international community who will offer case-studies and vital information to help strengthen the respect for life and family worldwide.<\/p>\n

Alliance Defending Freedom President, CEO, and General Counsel Alan Sears said:<\/p>\n

\u201cAt this crucial time in history when the sanctity of life and the human family are assaulted at every turn, there is an urgent need to address delegates of the United Nation and make them aware of the importance of protecting the dignity and freedom of every human being.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

According to the UN:<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cThe eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) \u2013 which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV\/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 \u2013 form a blueprint agreed to by all the world\u2019s countries and all the world\u2019s leading development institutions. They have galvanized unprecedented efforts to meet the needs of the world\u2019s poorest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The UN has oft been criticized for supporting international abortion rights and population control, this meeting seeks to help shine the spotlight on ways that human life can be honored, as well as keeping focus on the UN\u2019s Millennium Development Goals.<\/p>\n
