Today, Texas Gov. Rick Perry signed into law one of the nation\u2019s strongest pro-life bills. The historic moment came as a result of last week\u2019s efforts by thousands of pro-life activists who flocked to Austin to urge lawmakers to stand for life.<\/p>\n

I was one of those pro-life activists \u2013 a boy from Ohio who made the decision to \u201cStand For Life.\u201d<\/p>\n

I was inside the capitol rotunda when pro-abortion advocates laid siege \u2013 in a profane and vile standoff.<\/p>\n

These representatives of the culture of death showed the nation their uncivil behavior \u2013 opposed to a commonsense bill to protect unborn children who can feel pain.<\/p>\n

The mainstream media elevated Texas Sen. Wendy Davis to sainthood, and they glamorized the \u201cpassion\u201d of the pro-abortion crowd \u2013 but I want to show you what really went down in the Lone Star State.<\/p>\n

Some people got pictures with Cecile Richards.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Odds are they didn’t use Planned Parenthood’s services<\/a>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And some got pictures with Abby Johnson.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Life<\/a><\/p>\n

Abby Johnson left Planned Parenthood and founded And Then There Were None<\/a>\u00a0to help other women get out of the abortion industry.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some girls had catchy signs.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Stay classy, girls.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Others had less catchy, more realistic ones.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-life,<\/a><\/p>\n

The truth hurts.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>One mother used her children.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Choice,<\/a><\/p>\n

Does this count as child abuse?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Other children held signs.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Life<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0How can you say “no” to those little faces?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One father used his daughter.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Disclaimer: Her father is actually proud<\/a> of her carrying this sign.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Another daughter spoke without saying a word.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-life,<\/a><\/p>\n

Her father must be proud, too.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

One woman used her unborn child.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Anyone else find this ironic?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This boy told his story.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-life,<\/a><\/p>\n

He was born at an age where a baby can still be aborted without the passage of HB2.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The legislators had show and tell.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

It could have been arts and crafts. Either way, these legislators think women will go back to using coat hangers if they want to get an abortion after 20 weeks, and they claim to trust women.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

These legislators shared baby shoes.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Life<\/a><\/h2>\n

Texas State Rep. Jodie Laubenberg held baby shoes to symbolize what the bill is about – saving babies’ lives.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some women chained themselves to the Senate gallery.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, that’s not a peace sign. It’s just her way of opposing the bill.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then called themselves champions.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Can you hear the National Anthem playing?<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And Some of them got a little carr<\/strong>ied away<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"HB2<\/h2>\n

They did things you wouldn’t let your kids do, especially in the Texas capitol building.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, a group of students prayed in front of Planned Parenthood.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Life,<\/a><\/p>\n

Because chaining themselves to the gallery just didn’t seem feasible.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Some made “Wanted” posters for their opposition.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Because making “wanted” posters with legislators on them is not inciting violence.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Then thanked the Texas Department of Public Safety.<\/b><\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

At the passage of the bill, all the members in the Senate also thanked the DPS for their hard work.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

But nothing sums it up like this.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Mob\"<\/a><\/p>\n

When you have to make this sign, things probably aren’t going so well. Who disrupted civil order? Who brought jars of feces and urine, bricks, and used tampons into a capitol building to throw on people? Who padlocked themselves to the Senate gallery? I guess it was THE PEOPLE, not the mob, that forced me and 50+ other pro-lifers to go into lockdown because the Texas Department of Public Safety said it was no longer safe for us.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And now the bill is law.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"Pro-Life,<\/a><\/p>\n

After all has been said and done, Governor Perry signed the bill into law, Thursday, July 18, 2013.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

As a result of this bill, thousands of babies will have a chance at life.<\/h2>\n
