The state of Texas isn\u2019t letting the \u201cTexas Gosnell\u201d case of abortionist Douglas Karpen fade away. Twenty lawmakers in the Lone Star State have signed a letter asking for a full-scale criminal investigation of the doctor accused of illegal abortions that rival Kermit Gosnell\u2019s House of Horrors.<\/p>\n

Led by District 61 State Representative Phil King, Texas lawmakers sent a letter to officials<\/a> asking for a full criminal investigation. Life Dynamics<\/a>, who produced this shocking video<\/a>\u00a0of three of Karpen\u2019s former employees admitting their participation in the deaths of many babies born alive during abortion procedures, then killed in Karpen\u2019s office, says Rep. King requested the raw, unedited video from these interviews.<\/p>\n

As a result, King and 19 other lawmakers sent official letters to Lt. Richard Kleczynski with the Homicide Division of the Houston Police Department; Ms. Mari Robinson, executive director of the Texas Medical Board; and David L. Lakey MD., Commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services. In the letter, King writes:<\/p>\n

We strongly support a full investigation into the allegations of Dr. Karpen.\u00a0 As a state, we must ensure that the health and safety of women and children are being protected by laws and regulations in place.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Gosnell case has opened many eyes to the reality of what is happening behind the innocuous-looking clinic signs. Because of the Gosnell case, the reality of the gravity of the criminal acts is waking up clinic workers to speak now. Mark Crutcher, Life Dynamics president, said:<\/p>\n

One thing that was often overlooked about the conviction and life sentence recently given to abortionist Kermit Gosnell, is that eight of his employees also received long prison sentences for their roles in what he was doing.\u00a0 Today, the abortion lobby is in ‘damage control mode’ and telling anyone who will listen that Gosnell is an aberration and that every other abortionist in America is Mr. Clean.\u00a0 But the people who actually work in these places know better, and they are beginning to fear that they could be the next ones dragged into a courtroom wearing handcuffs and leg irons.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Indeed, the comments from the workers who are daring to speak reveal more than most can imagine. Below is background information and excerpts of the video that spurred King and the lawmakers to request a full investigation. The comments from clinic workers are powerful and horrible. All eyes are on Texas officials now to see how they respond to this request.<\/p>\n

Here are a couple of excerpts from the video. CLIP 1<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201c Most of the time we would see him where the fetus would come completely out and of course the fetus would still be alive because it was still moving, of course, you could see the stomach breathing and um that\u2019s when he would do his um, he would snip the spine, as they were saying this doctor did and of course the soft spot was one of the spots that he um would take one of the forceps, or what is it called? The dilators and stick it down the soft spot of the fetuses head.\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cYou saw this happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic worker: \u201cOh yes. I think every morning I saw on several occasions. If we had um, if we had 20 something patients, of course \u00a0maybe 10 or 12, or 13 or 15 would be large procedures – \u00a0out of those large procedures I\u2019m pretty sure I was seeing 3 to 4 fetus that were completely delivered in some way or another.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

CLIP 2<\/a>:<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cYou would see the baby alive\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cYes, sir.\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cand him kill that baby outside the womb?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic worker: \u201cYes, sir\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cAnd this would be done by jamming some kind of instrument into the soft spot?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic worker: \u201cEither that or actually twisting the head off the neck, kind of with his own bare hands?\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cAnd you saw that happen?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic worker: \u201cYes, sir\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cSometimes he would go through the stomach as well\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cSometimes he would do what?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cHe would like, force it through the stomach.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cThe, the instrument\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cand he\u2019d twist it\u201d<\/p>\n

Interviewer: \u201cAnd you saw that?\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201canything that he could get to\u2026like she said..\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cI normally saw either the snipping of the spine or the introduction of the instrument in the soft spot of the fetus normally or twisting of the neck\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cRemember he would like take his finger\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cOr his finger, he\u2019d take his finger\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cuh, through the throat\u201d<\/p>\n

Clinic Worker: \u201cYeah\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
