(LifeSiteNews<\/a>) Several Planned Parenthood facilities across Pennsylvania advertise pregnancy services online that they do not actually provide, according to a new report.<\/p>\n

On July 30, the Pennsylvania Family Institute\u00a0published<\/a>\u00a0its findings from a review of Planned Parenthood locations across the Commonwealth. It found the websites of eight locations specifically advertised as \u201cPrenatal and Postpartum Services.\u201d But the call centers for Planned Parenthood Keystone and Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania confirmed none of the locations in question offer any such prenatal care.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe called their facilities directly. Contrary to their advertising, not one Planned Parenthood in PA offers prenatal services. Zero,\u201d PA Family chief strategist Dan Bartkowiak said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis isn\u2019t the first time Planned Parenthood has been caught misleading the public in this way,\u201d PA Family said. \u201cIn 2017, Pennsylvania Family Institute exposed that all 27 Planned Parenthood locations in the state were listing prenatal care as a service online despite none actually offering it. Following the exposure and media attention in 2017, Planned Parenthood quietly removed the listings from their appointment pages. However, now eight years later, they appear to be back.\u201d<\/p>\n

The misrepresentation echoes\u00a0false claims<\/a>\u00a0Pennsylvania Democrat Gov. Josh Shapiro has made in defense of the abortion giant, which is\u00a0currently in court<\/a>\u00a0to try to stop the federal government from cutting off its federal funding.<\/p>\n

Last year, Planned Parenthood\u2019s\u00a0most recent annual report<\/a>\u00a0revealed that its affiliates across the nation took in $699.3 million in government \u201chealth services\u201d reimbursements and grants, accounting for 39 percent of its total revenue during that period. At the same time, the abortion chain committed 392,715 abortions \u2013 yet non-abortion procedures, such as pap tests and cancer screenings continued to decline as percentages of its overall business.<\/p>\n

Evidence indicates<\/a>\u00a0that so-called \u201ctelehealth\u201d abortions have helped sustain the industry after\u00a0Roe v. Wade<\/i>\u00a0by mailing abortion pills across state lines to be taken in private, but they cannot fully cancel out the deterrent effect of making surgical abortions harder to obtain.<\/p>\n
