However, this also likely slowed down the response time of the emergency personnel, further putting the injured woman at risk. It&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-hospital-botched-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not the first time<\/a> this request has been made at this facility. It is also a pattern that&#8217;s been seen at abortion facilities nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCan we have them, um\u2013no sirens, no lights\u2013and then could they pull to the furthest doors?\u201d the caller asked the dispatcher.<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"rumble\" src=\"https:\/\/rumble.com\/embed\/v6tdwdv\/?pub=4\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This is at least the fourth <em>known<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/illinois-planned-parenthood-injures-two-women\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion injury<\/a>\u00a0at this location this year alone. This facility offers second-trimester D&amp;E abortions, and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-911-calls-injuries\/\">has a long history<\/a>\u00a0of injuring women.<\/p>\n<h2>Reality Check:<\/h2>\n<p>Operation Rescue has documented an alarming number of injuries at Illinois abortion facilities this year \u2014 15 women injured at seven facilities just in the past six months. And these are just the known and reported incidents. The organization&#8217;s president, Troy Newman, attributes many of these injuries to the fact that the state requires no oversight of abortion facilities, which means they don&#8217;t have to meet any commonsense health or safety standards.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese increasing medical emergencies raise crucial questions about the total lack of safety practices and regulatory oversight for abortion facilities in Illinois,\u201d Newman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operationrescue.org\/bleeding-out-illinois-legislators-vote-down-any-licensing-for-abortion-clinics-while-botched-abortions-all-over-the-state-land-hemorrhaging-women-in-the-er\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> in April.<\/p>\n<h2>The Bottom Line:<\/h2>\n<p>Newman also called out the complete disregard for the injured woman in asking for an ambulance without lights or sirens.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em>&#8220;There is absolutely no justifiable reason to request no lights and no sirens in the midst of an emergency situation.
