Most were victims of first-trimester abortions, but five of them had clearly been aborted at significantly later gestational ages, with some appearing to be <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/justice-five-facts-discovery-aborted-babies-dc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">nearly full-term<\/a>. One of the babies, later named \u201cHarriet,\u201d was believed by experts to have potentially been killed by an illegal D&amp;X (\u2018partial-birth) abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Santangelo was previously the subject of a Live Action <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/inhuman-late-term-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">undercover investigation<\/a>, in which he was recorded saying that he cuts the umbilical cord and waits for the child to die by cardiac arrest during an abortion, rather than injecting the child with a feticide.
