One study found that the abortion pill is <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/study-abortion-pill-four-times-dangerous-surgical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">four times more dangerous<\/a> than a first-trimester surgical abortion, while another, <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/safer-tylenol-report-planned-parenthood-abortion-pill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more recent analysis<\/a> of insurance data found that <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nearly <\/span><b>11% of women<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (10.93%) experience sepsis, infection, hemorrhaging, or other serious or life-threatening adverse events (complications) following a mifepristone abortion. Studies show that <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">serious adverse events from mifepristone occur at a rate approximately <\/span><b><i>22 times higher<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> than the rate reported on the Food and Drug Administration\u2019s (FDA) label for the drug.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The D&amp;C abortion also carries the risk of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.asrm.org\/FACTSHEET_Dilation_and_Curettage\/\">injury<\/a> to the uterus or cervix, which can potentially damage the intestines, bladder, and nearby blood vessels, cause <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/19888037\">hemorrhage, infection,<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/19888037\">even death of the mother<\/a> in rare cases.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zVk1qM1El9o?si=s-9KXhQthHyzOdms\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>THE BOTTOM LINE:<\/h3>\n<p>Operation Rescue President Troy Newman questioned what kind of &#8220;care&#8221; the young woman received at this abortion facility. \u201cWas this woman in Georgia experiencing a reaction to mifepristone?
