It states:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">People 15 and younger who have periods can come to us for birth control options to stop periods. Parent\/guardian consent is not required to get birth control.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">noted<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">by Fox News, the APP report also referenced the website for the affiliate, Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest, Inc., which states on its <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-pacific-southwest\/campaigns\/gender-affirming-care\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gender-Affirming Care<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d page<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u201cWhile patients under 18 cannot receive hormone therapy, they may have a consultation with a provider to understand treatment options and to receive medications to stop their periods (if desired).\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, Fox News pointed out that the affiliate offers menstrual suppression to minors on its <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/planned-parenthood-pacific-southwest\/who-we-are\/faq#:~:text=Our%20services%20are%20available%20to,their%20periods%20(if%20desired).\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FAQ page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Dr. Ingrid Skop, OBGYN and Charlotte Lozier Institute vice president and director of medical affairs, told Live Action News,\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBroadly, disrupting normal hormonal function so that ovulation does not occur has a contraceptive effect, but Planned Parenthood is pushing boundaries by asserting this allows them to use contraceptive methods for (unproven) therapeutic goals in treating gender dysphoria.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hormonal birth control is widely available to minors in the United States, and is readily available to minors without parental consent in half of US states, plus Washington D.C. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.guttmacher.org\/state-policy\/explore\/minors-access-contraceptive-services\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the Guttmacher Institute, \u201c25 states and the District of Columbia explicitly allow all minors to consent to contraceptive services\u201d and \u201c24 states explicitly permit minors to consent to contraceptive services in one or more circumstances.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live Action News previously<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/top-abortion-provider-planned-parenthood-transgender-care\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">reported<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that Planned Parenthood is one of the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/reject-planned-parenthood-expand-gender-affirming-minors\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">leading suppliers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of cross-sex hormones to minors. The corporation has openly advertised itself as such. Live Action\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/undercover-investigation-hormones-planned-parenthood-easy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">recent undercover calls<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to Planned Parenthood facilities across several states showed that Planned Parenthood staff were willing to provide a 16-year-old girl with testosterone the same day of a single appointment, even a virtual appointment, without referrals from mental health professionals and with little to no parent supervision.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><strong>THE BOTTOM LINE:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">From the organization\u2019s inception with Margaret Sanger\u2019s <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/reject-planned-parenthood-eugenic-population-agenda-lives\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">push for eugenics,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Planned Parenthood has been selling birth control on a huge scale. Planned Parenthood Mar Monte\u2019s flyer and Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest\u2019s website suggest that the organization is looking to increase its revenue by selling contraceptives to gender-confused young girls, who may feel desperate to stop their menstrual cycles without their parents knowing about it.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As APP President Terry Schilling said in a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/americanprinciplesproject.org\/media\/app-report-exposes-planned-parenthood\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">statement<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> accompanying the release of his organization\u2019s report:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood is no longer merely an abortion giant. They have lately also transformed into a dangerous purveyor of irreversible gender transition procedures, targeting vulnerable young people with minimal safeguards. They are not a healthcare provider; they are a political machine using taxpayer funds to advance a radical agenda that endangers our families.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are proud of President Trump and Speaker Johnson for ensuring that language to defund Planned Parenthood was included in the House version of the One Big, Beautiful Bill. Now it\u2019s time for the Senate to put the nail in the coffin and end taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood once and for all.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Backed by<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/report-details-planned-parenthood-record-abortions-funding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nearly $800M in taxpayer funding<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> yearly, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Planned Parenthood targets the most vulnerable: helpless preborn babies and confused young people.
