Hope Carter had “always wanted to be a mom,” so when she and her husband Josh were told they would never have biological children, she was heartbroken. But sometimes miracles happen.<\/p>\n

According to WMAZ<\/a>, in 2017, the couple was told they could not have children. They had spent years undergoing fertility treatments, including in vitro fertilization (IVF), only to repeatedly fail to become pregnant.<\/p>\n

“We tried for several years, and were eventually referred to a fertility clinic where they did everything known to man to try to help us have children \u2014 and after lots of medicines, lots of procedures, and IVF, they told us we would never be able to have biological children,” said Hope. Through IVF, they created seven embryos, but within a week \u2014 and before they could be implanted \u2014\u00a0all<\/em> of the embryos died.<\/p>\n

“They told us it would be medically impossible [to get pregnant,]” she said, adding, \u201cI always wanted to be a mom and to hear that you can\u2019t be a mom was devastating, truly devastating.”<\/p>\n
