Although there are <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-rejected-defunded\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multiple reasons<\/a> why Planned Parenthood deserves to be defunded, the billboard highlighted two main reasons that America&#8217;s biggest abortion business should lose the $700 million it receives from federal tax dollars each year.<\/p>\n<p>The billboard directed viewers to <a href=\"https:\/\/p2a.co\/JMECA2F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">DefundPP.com<\/a> and\u00a0focused on the fact that, according to Planned Parenthood&#8217;s 2022-2023 annual <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/record-breaking-planned-parenthood-annual-abortions-400k\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a>, Planned Parenthood <a href=\"https:\/\/www.abortionprocedures.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kills 1,076 preborn children<\/a> every day in the United States through various methods of abortion that may include the abortion pill, D&amp;C suction abortion, D&amp;E dismemberment abortion, or induction abortion using a feticide to cause cardiac arrest. This equates to nearly 45 children every hour, and one every 80 seconds. According to that report, Planned Parenthood commits 40% of all abortions in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5072nhaoys4?si=oZA0e4yWbzvMlSsP\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The billboard also featured clips from Live Action&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=S-lQOooYAs8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baby Olivia<\/a>&#8221; video, featuring world-class animation that highlights life inside the womb from fertilization through birth.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udfe5 Live from Times Square \ud83d\udfe5<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re in NYC calling out the truth. A new\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/opa.hhs.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/2025-05\/gender-dysphoria-report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Review of Evidence and Best Practices<\/a> from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) on \u201cTreatment for Pediatric Gender Dysphoria\u201d revealed that Planned Parenthood is a \u201cleading provider\u201d of cross-sex hormones for young people.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_330981\" style=\"width: 710px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-330981\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-large wp-image-330981\" src=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo-700x242.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"700\" height=\"242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo-700x242.jpg 700w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo-300x104.jpg 300w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo-768x265.jpg 768w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo-500x173.jpg 500w, https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/billboards-NYC-Live-Action-photo.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-330981\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photos: Live Action<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Review <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/hhs-report-planned-parenthood-leading-provider-hormones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">found<\/a> that there is a lack of evidence regarding the psychological effects of \u201cgender-affirming care,\u201d whether beneficial or harmful. However, it noted that the physical risks <em>are known<\/em>. \u201cThe risks of pediatric medical transition include infertility\/sterility, sexual dysfunction, impaired bone density accrual, adverse cognitive impacts, cardiovascular disease and metabolic disorders, psychiatric disorders, surgical complications, and regret,\u201d states the Review.<\/p>\n<p>A 2024 investigative report published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/how-did-planned-parenthood-become\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Free Press<\/a> stated that certain data reveals that about 40% of the patients who received hormones from Planned Parenthood in 2023 were between the ages of 18 and 22, with some beginning hormones at age 16.
