Some have already become victims of abuse and coercion when they step inside Planned Parenthood\u2019s doors, only to be further coerced into having their children killed by Planned Parenthood staff.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live Action has conducted significant <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/what-we-do\/investigations\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">investigations<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into Planned Parenthood\u2019s willingness to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-traffickers-guardians\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">aid abusers and sex traffickers<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and even <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-hurried-abortions-minor-bad-sample\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">coerce young women<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> into having abortions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women have stepped forward, publicly sharing their stories of having abortions as teenagers at Planned Parenthood facilities for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silentnomoreawareness.org\/\">Silent No More Awareness<\/a> campaign<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Their stories deserve to be heard.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Emily<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Emily said she asked Planned Parenthood to help her when her parents were forcing her to have an abortion at the age of 16. Instead, Planned Parenthood staff allegedly drugged and forcibly detained her.<\/p>\n<p>Her written testimony is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silentnomoreawareness.org\/testimonies\/testimony.aspx?ID=4085\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/YYGP-R7n4cI?si=CZicYebHcjo8REWJ\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Emily stated:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was decided by my parents that I would have an abortion. I claimed I wanted to keep my baby, but I was taken to the abortion clinic against my will. I asked for help from the staff at Planned Parenthood and stated that I was not there willingly when counseled. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To my surprise, my cries for help fell upon deaf ears. No one came to save me. I was degraded by the adults there and was told that I was acting like a child. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">During the ultrasound, I heard my baby\u2019s heartbeat loud and clear. Halfway through my ultrasound I stood up and ran out of the room and found myself up against a door. That is the last thing I remember aside from waking up in the recovery room. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I imagine that I was drugged to keep quiet. The staff at Planned Parenthood were concerned that I would scare the other women there preparing for their abortions.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Deb<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Deb said Planned Parenthood helped her get an illegal abortion as a teen, and told her that her baby was nothing more than a blob of cells.<\/p>\n<p>Her written testimony is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silentnomoreawareness.org\/testimonies\/testimony.aspx?ID=4120\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/_oLaezCkToE?si=9Qae-plnoEsZtEeY\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Deb stated:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I had an abortion because I was nervous about being pregnant at 17, single, and because my boyfriend wanted me to have one. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I went to Planned Parenthood, the worker there told me that I wouldn\u2019t be aborting a baby, because it was nothing more than a blob of cells. She then told me that I would have to forget about school if I decided not to have an abortion. I scheduled the appointment.\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because it was against the law in 1975 for a minor to get an abortion without parental consent, the woman from Planned Parenthood told me to bring a legal ID from someone else, and not to tell my parents.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><b>Laura<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Laura said Planned Parenthood didn&#8217;t inform her she would experience pain until right before the abortion. I made the hasty decision to have an abortion out of fear of anyone knowing. Upon arriving at Planned Parenthood I was given no information about the abortion procedure. Once prepped, the doctor told me to let him know when I felt a pinch. I panicked. I had not been told there would be pain involved. They just told me they would help.\u00a0 <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I began to cry. Once the procedure began, I pleaded, \u201cit pinches, it pinches.\u201d When I left Planned Parenthood that day, I promised myself I would never think or talk about this day ever again.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a follow up appointment for the abortion they discovered they had not completely removed the baby and told me I would need to return for another procedure. Before the second procedure occurred, I passed the remains of my baby in a toilet. <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was devastated but didn\u2019t know what else to do but flush the toilet. I was traumatized.
