Two Republican lawmakers have sent a letter<\/a> asking FBI Director Kash Patel to investigate the\u00a0five nearly full-term babies found in a medical waste bin outside a Washington, D.C., abortion facility in March 2022.<\/p>\n

The letter, sent by Reps. Chip Roy of Texas and Andy Biggs of Arizona, says the Biden administration “departed from its core public safety mission, suffered from senior leadership failures, and refused any real transparency or accountability for its actions,” in refusing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the remains of the five aborted preborn babies.<\/p>\n

The babies<\/a>, known as the “D.C. Five<\/a>,” were found by pro-life activists Lauren Handy and Terrisa Bukovinac in a plastic bag underneath the remains of 110 babies aborted in the first trimester. These remains were obtained from the driver of a medical waste truck picking up outside the Washington Surgi-Center abortion facility, where notorious abortionist Cesare Santangelo kills preborn children.<\/p>\n

In a 2013 Live Action undercover investigation<\/a>, Santangelo noted that his method of killing preborn babies does not involve use of an injected feticide, but instead, he cuts the umbilical cord and waits for the child to die by cardiac arrest. He also said if a child survived an abortion at his facility, he and his staff \u201cwould not help it\u201d to ensure survival.<\/p>\n
