The student, who has since been identified as sophomore <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Adrian Miguelez, was running for a student government senator position at the time of the incident.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/KristanHawkins\/status\/1904226095391748593?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1904226095391748593%7Ctwgr%5E854caf0c5eed2c1fc4772d3dc170650cf940e0c0%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.campusreform.org%2Farticle%2Fi-fing-hate-you-student-gov-candidate-unc-asheville-destroys-pro-life-table-yells-pro-lifers-%2F27762\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A video<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> posted to X by SFLA\u2019s Kristan Hawkins and shared by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.campusreform.org\/article\/i-fing-hate-you-student-gov-candidate-unc-asheville-destroys-pro-life-table-yells-pro-lifers-\/27762\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Campus Reform<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and other news outlets shows Miguelez repeatedly yelling, \u201cI f***ing hate you,\u201d at the peaceful pro-lifers before violently sweeping off the display tablecloth and scattering the brochures over the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As seen in the video, Miguelez also accused the pro-lifers of being \u201cthe people who spread propaganda\u201d and &#8220;fascism&#8221; and accused them of \u201cputting women down.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">BREAKING: Student gets triggered by peaceful <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StudentsforLife?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@StudentsforLife<\/a> women &amp; destroys their table at UNC Asheville.<\/p>\n<p>When facts fail, the Left resorts to violence. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mc9JwnrFU2\">pic.twitter.com\/mc9JwnrFU2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kristan Hawkins (@KristanHawkins) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KristanHawkins\/status\/1904226095391748593?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 24, 2025<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/studentsforlife.org\/2025\/03\/27\/watch-kristan-hawkins-joined-laura-ingraham-to-break-down-viral-video-of-unc-asheville-student-destroying-sfla-partnered-table\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SFLA&#8217;s Pro-Life Generation News<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Miguelez stopped by the table twice, first to call the advocates names and express his support of abortion through all nine months, then later to escalate his attack on the advocates and destroy their table. The video shows that another male student attempted to dissuade Miguelez from attacking the peaceful peer educators, but gave up and walked away.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHe started angrily calling us names from the beginning, and I tried to deescalate him,\u201d said SFLA Carolinas Regional Coordinator Alicia Foreman. \u201cHe stated he supports abortion through all nine months for any reason as well. I asked him to leave because he was getting aggressive, and he did leave. He left but came back not even five minutes later, even angrier. He was cussing at us and calling us \u2018fascists\u2019 and \u2018misogynists,\u2019\u201d SFLA reported.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In Miguelez\u2019s student government candidate<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www3.unca.edu\/student\/sga\/candidate_information_spring.php\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">profile,<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the sophomore says he is \u201csomeone passionate about true justice within [the university] community\u201d who hoped to \u201cstrengthen[] effective and transparent lines of communication between students, SGA members, and administrators.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to various news sources, university officials are investigating the incident, and the student government election was delayed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Dx-35JVxxfg\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">statement<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to The Ingraham Angle, the university said: <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">UNC Asheville is investigating the recent incident at Highsmith Student Union. Student safety is a top priority. UNC Asheville takes all allegations of student conduct violations seriously and addresses them in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Student Code of Responsibility.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hawkins shared her thoughts about the incident on The Ingraham Angle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Dx-35JVxxfg?si=d7QaJjy-NQzr_qU5\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhat this is indicative of is what we see all the time on college campuses. Violence is the Left\u2019s go-to, whether, you know, here in Texas they\u2019re trying to blow up Tesla dealerships, or they\u2019re destroying pro-life educational tables being run by two women, or sometimes even eating our rubber baby models that demonstrate the size of a child in the womb. This is what the Left resorts to when you\u2019re talking to them about an issue that they don\u2019t know anything about,\u201d Hawkins<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Dx-35JVxxfg?si=lFPfh36EhiLODoPQ\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">told<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ingraham.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hawkins described the difficulty and costs her team faces in trying to give free, life-saving educational resources to students on college campuses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhat you assume is, free speech is free \u2014\u00a0but it\u2019s not free.
