Live Action News recently discovered and documented dozens of online reviews, allegedly posted by current and former Planned Parenthood employees, criticizing the abortion chain for its <\/span>substandard care<\/span><\/a>, its <\/span>exploitative<\/span><\/a> treatment of employees, and its toxic culture. <\/span><\/p>\n

One online review, apparently written by a former employee of Planned Parenthood in Atlanta, Georgia, describes how the employee was lured to Planned Parenthood by promises management made about the corporation being a \u2018family-oriented workplace,\u2019 and ended up disappointed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI joined Planned Parenthood Southeast (PPSE) with high hopes, motivated by the organization\u2019s mission and its promise of being a family-oriented workplace. Unfortunately, my experience did not align with those expectations,\u201d the reviewer said.<\/p>\n

The reviewer went on to describe isolation in a role within HR, how he\/she felt \u201cunsupported and undervalued,\u201d as well as \u201cexcluded from meaningful collaboration or professional camaraderie.\u201d Furthermore, \u201cLeadership and communication were significant challenges,\u201d the reviewer claimed.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reviewer discussed never having met his\/her supervisor in person before being terminated, due to elimination of the position.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI never met my direct supervisor in person throughout my tenure \u2013 except for the day I was terminated due to my position being eliminated. The termination process was handled poorly, with no prior notice or transparency. I was asked to attend a \u2018confidential meeting\u2019 in the office, only to be let go without a direct conversation about what to expect, despite previously inquiring about job security.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The reviewer alleged that PPSE was not \u201ccaring\u201d for employees, though it claimed to be, and the affiliate workplace lacked even \u201c[b]asic human connection.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPPSE emphasizes being a caring and supportive organization for employees and the community, but this wasn\u2019t reflected in its workplace culture. Basic human connection \u2013 like asking about my well-being or taking an interest in my family \u2013 was absent. Meanwhile, I made efforts to build rapport by learning about my colleagues\u2019 personal lives, which was never reciprocated.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Interestingly, the reviewer claimed to still \u201cfully support PPSE\u2019s broader mission,\u201d while noting, \u201cFor a mission-driven organization, there is a stark disconnect between [Planned Parenthood\u2019s] external values and how it treats employees internally.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Another Indeed review, apparently authored by a former Planned Parenthood medical assistant in Sacramento, contrasts Planned Parenthood\u2019s externally promoted \u201cmission\u201d to \u201csupport women\u2019s rights\u201d with the way the corporation treats its own employees.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cDespite the organization\u2019s mission to support women\u2019s rights and mental health, this same level of compassion was not extended to employees,\u201d the reviewer wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBad place to work, \u201c claims another Indeed review, apparently by a former medical assistant in Grand Rapids, Michigan. \u201cThey don\u2019t care bout their employees!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The irony of these comments about Planned Parenthood by alleged former employees is that Planned Parenthood is, of course, not a family-oriented organization, and does not truly care for people. The corporation kills the most innocent members of the human family on a daily basis, destroys mothers and fathers, and wreaks moral and emotional havoc on employees.<\/span><\/p>\n
