Each year on March 10, abortion advocates celebrate some of the people who make the killing of preborn human beings possible on a daily basis \u2014 the abortionists and abortion facility staff. This year, countless pro-abortion groups marked the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers with social media posts.<\/p>\n

The goal, according to the Abortion Care Network<\/a>, is to ‘uplift’ abortionists and ‘celebrate’ them with “acts of gratitude and appreciation.” None of their posts of praise, however, mentioned exactly what it is<\/em> that abortionists do<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Induced abortion is an act that intentionally and directly kills a preborn human being. It is carried out through different procedures depending on the woman’s gestational stage. Most abortions are currently committed by the abortion pill regimen, which uses two drugs. The first, mifepristone, deprives the baby of nutrients, while the second, misoprostol, causes contractions to expel the baby. Women have shared heartbreaking stories of the physical and emotional trauma<\/a> they experienced when taking the abortion pill.<\/p>\n
