Live Action frequently exposes the reality that Planned Parenthood does not offer health care, despite popular claims to the contrary, and instead brutally kills preborn babies and harms mothers in the process. <\/span><\/p>\n

Live Action News, relying on the documentation of 911 calls obtained by Operation Rescue, <\/span>has reported<\/span><\/a> how Planned Parenthood staff has severely injured women and further endangered clients by mishandling emergency situations. <\/span><\/p>\n

Below are specific incidents in which Planned Parenthood employees called 911 for injured women, but withheld information from dispatchers and requested ambulances to arrive without lights or sirens \u2014 a request that can cause delays when every second counts.<\/span><\/p>\n

California<\/b><\/h3>\n

Staffers at a Planned Parenthood facility in Orange<\/strong>, California, withheld information from dispatchers on three occasions in April and May of 2024, and verbally fought with the dispatcher. Operation Rescue<\/span><\/a> obtained audio of three separate 911 calls placed from the facility in the spring of 2024:<\/span><\/p>\n

April 5, 2024:<\/b> A staffer at the Planned Parenthood facility in Orange, California, <\/span>called 911<\/span><\/a> and told the dispatcher only that a woman needed to be \u201ctransferred emergently to the hospital for a complication.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The dispatcher responded that she needed to know more so that she could know which kind of equipment she needed to send with the emergency personnel. The Planned Parenthood staffer, after much questioning, finally mentioned elusively that the patient had a \u201cpregnancy-related complication,\u201d was in her twenties, and was conscious.<\/span><\/p>\n

May 31<\/b>, 2024:<\/strong> A Planned Parenthood staffer named Christina called 911, and refused to give critical information.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOkay, we need some more information, so we know the response to send on our end,\u201d the dispatcher replied to Christina\u2019s initial request for an ambulance for a \u201ccomplication.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The dispatcher asked the staffer to find out the “chief complaint” or the reason for requesting a transport.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The staffer refused to answer, saying, \u201cIt\u2019s a pregnancy-related procedure. That\u2019s all the information I have for you.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

The dispatcher reiterated the need for more information, and asked to speak to the doctor, at which point the staffer stepped away to discuss the issue with the manager. In the background, the manager can be heard saying, \u201cTell her she had a surgical abortion, and she needs to be transferred to the hospital <\/span>now<\/span><\/i>.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, Christina communicated to the dispatcher that the woman had <\/span>lost \u201cabout over a liter\u201d of blood.\u00a0The manager then took the call, and the dispatcher asked for more information\u2026 seemingly infuriating the manager.<\/span><\/p>\n

Live Action News previously reported:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou just need to send the paramedics!\u201d she snapped. \u201cThey\u2019ve come here many times before. I just need the paramedics.\u201d The manager eventually admitted it was a first trimester abortion. \u201cThis is not typical for you guys to ask so many questions. That\u2019s why we\u2019re kind of concerned,\u201d the manager added. But the dispatcher refused to be dissuaded. \u201cIt is, it\u2019s absolutely typical,\u201d she said. The manager continued to argue, saying, \u201cNo it\u2019s not, I\u2019ve had \u2013 <\/span><\/i>I\u2019ve done this before<\/i><\/b>.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201cAllow me to do my job, ok?\u201d responded the dispatcher, again repeating that the paramedics were already on their way.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

Moments later, after the call had ended, a staff member at the facility called 911 again, apparently by accident. In the audio, as the dispatcher tries to speak to someone, a staff member, presumably the facility manager, is heard scolding a staffer for providing the dispatcher with too much information. <\/span><\/p>\n

This Planned Parenthood has a history<\/a> of botching abortions<\/span>.<\/span> Additionally, the facility was investigated<\/a> by the Department of Justice in 2017 for illegally participating in the sale of aborted babies\u2019 body parts, and later received $7.5 million in coronavirus stimulus<\/a> relief funds from the Federal Payroll Protection Program which it should not have received.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Illinois<\/h3>\n

Carbondale Planned Parenthood<\/strong><\/p>\n

On May 10, 2024, an employee of the Planned Parenthood facility in Carbondale, Illinois, <\/span>called 911<\/span><\/a> for a woman with a perforated uterus, according to the call audio and transcript obtained by <\/span>Operation Rescue<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe need a patient that needs transferred to the emergency room,\u201d the staffer said, adding, \u201cUh, the patient was having a procedure abortion, and there was a perforation of her uterus.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The staffer then said the victim was a 23-year-old woman who was bleeding, although it was currently \u201ccontrolled.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The dispatcher had to repeat her questions as the Planned Parenthood staffer appeared to have an accent that caused the dispatcher difficulty in understanding.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to <\/span>Operation Rescue<\/span><\/a>, the CAD transcript of the call indicates that the woman required advanced life support from paramedics dispatched at the highest priority before being taken to Memorial Hospital of Carbondale.<\/span><\/p>\n

Flossmoor Planned Parenthood<\/strong><\/p>\n

On October 15, 2024, an employee of Planned Parenthood in Flossmoor, Illinois, <\/span>called 911<\/span><\/a>\u00a0requesting an ambulance for a 31-year-old woman who was \u201cbleeding pretty heavily\u201d from her vagina, according to audio obtained by <\/span>Operation Rescue<\/span><\/a>. This staffer was vague about the injured woman\u2019s condition and showed she wasn\u2019t prepared even to give the patient\u2019s age to the dispatcher over the phone.<\/span><\/p>\n

Moments later, the staffer tried to cancel the ambulance: \u201cI\u2019m sorry, it seems that she is stabilizing the patient, so I think she is going to want to just monitor for now,\u201d she told the dispatcher.<\/span><\/p>\n

The dispatcher responded that the paramedics were already on their way and would decide with the doctor about whether or not the woman needed to be transported to the hospital.<\/span><\/p>\n
