Police are also trying to tie her to similar incidents that occurred in 2023, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themirror.com\/news\/us-news\/virginia-nurse-fractured-newborn-babys-892067\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Mirror<\/a> reporting that detectives are reviewing \u201chundreds of hours of footage\u201d to ensure that justice is served for all possible victims.<\/p>\n<p>The Daily Mail <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-14255261\/amp\/virginia-nurse-erin-strotman-targeting-black-babies-henrico-doctors.html\">reports<\/a> that Strotman &#8220;has been accused of initially injuring only black babies by staff in the hospital, with sources saying she &#8216;switched her focus&#8217; when she returned to the hospital in late 2024.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Noah Hackey is one such possible victim; his tibia was fractured while he was in the NICU in September 2023. After the injury, Noah&#8217;s family filed a Child Protective Services (CPS) report and an investigation found that the injuries were committed by a hospital employee.<\/p>\n<p>Four nurses, including Strotman, were subsequently suspended with full pay for nearly a year, but after further investigation couldn&#8217;t prove who was to blame, they were allowed to return to work. If they were suspicious of some person enough to let them go they shouldn\u2019t have brought them back. They failed, simple as that,\u201d Noah&#8217;s father, Dominique Hackey, told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtvr.com\/news\/local-news\/henrico-doctors-nicu-nurse-arrest-jan-3-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WTRV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hcavirginia.com\/locations\/henrico-doctors-hospital\/specialties\/womens-care\/labor-and-delivery#nicu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>, the hospital called Strotman a &#8220;former employee&#8221; and announced it has shut down the NICU while the investigation continues.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are both shocked and saddened by this development in the investigation and are focused on continuing to care for our patients and providing support to our colleagues who have been deeply and personally impacted by this investigation,&#8221; the statement said. &#8220;We are grateful to those colleagues, who have dedicated their professional lives to the care and safety of our patients, as well as to law enforcement and the other agencies who have worked aggressively and tirelessly with us on this investigation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The hospital added, &#8220;For more than 30 years, the NICU at Henrico Doctors&#8217; Hospital has provided necessary and life-saving care to babies in central Virginia and we remain focused on ensuring the availability of that care in our community.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/end-taxpayer-dollars-to-planned-parenthood\/\"><b><i>Tell President Trump, RFK, Jr., Elon, and Vivek: <\/i><\/b><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/end-taxpayer-dollars-to-planned-parenthood\/\"><b><i>Stop killing America\u2019s future.
