Actress Gal Gadot, most well-known for her role as Wonder Woman, has opened up<\/a> about a delivery in which she welcomed her fourth daughter in a miracle birth fraught with danger.<\/p>\n

Gadot wrote on social media that she was diagnosed with \u201ca massive blood clot\u201d in her brain during her eighth month of pregnancy. “For weeks, I had endured excruciating headaches that confined me to bed, until I finally underwent an MRI that revealed the terrifying truth,” she wrote. “In one moment, my family and I were faced with how fragile life can be. It was a stark reminder of how quickly everything can change, and in the midst of a difficult year, all I wanted was to hold on and live.”<\/p>\n

She said she was rushed into emergency surgery, which is when her daughter, Ori, was born. “Her name, meaning ‘my light,’ wasn\u2019t chosen by chance,” she said. “Before the surgery, I told Jaron that when our daughter arrived, she would be the light waiting for me at the end of this tunnel. Thanks to an extraordinary team of doctors at [Cedars Sinai] and weeks of dedicated care, I made it through and began the road to recovery. Today, I am fully healed and filled with gratitude for the life I\u2019ve been given back.”<\/p>\n
