Some babies are just too impatient \u2014 a lesson that Chloe Capps of McKinney, Texas, learned when her baby just couldn\u2019t \u201cpark it,\u201d and was determined to be born right there in the hospital parking lot.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The day started for Chloe like most normal days. She was at work when she felt like she might be having some cramps. She wasn\u2019t due until later in December \u2014 the 19th \u2014 so she felt it was still a little early. Those cramps intensified, and that\u2019s when she knew.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI was at work,\u201d Capps told local ABC news affiliate <\/span>WFAA<\/span><\/a>. \u201cI started what I thought was cramping but they were contractions, and I had called my mom.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Things were moving faster than expected, and Chloe\u2019s mother Debbie Glynn called ahead to the Medical City McKinney Hospital, while Chloe\u2019s manager drove her there.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Glynn hurried to the hospital as fast as she could, and as soon as she arrived saw a commotion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI parked very far away, was running across the parking lot and see the truck, see the swarm of staff,\u201d said Glynn.<\/span><\/p>\n

They were ready for Chloe, and it\u2019s a good thing, because Chloe\u2019s baby was even more ready than they were. As they went to help Chloe who had just pulled into the Emergency Room drive-up, she gestured that she wasn\u2019t going anywhere.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cShe gives me the like, ‘no, I need to get this baby out right now,’\u201d said Jayde Warren, a registered nurse at the hospital.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There\u2019s just no stopping a baby who\u2019s ready to arrive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI tried to hold her in to get into the hospital, but I guess with me stressing a little bit […] She was ready to come,\u201d said Capps.<\/span><\/p>\n

Glynn rushed towards the scene as soon as she arrived, just in time to meet her granddaughter. <\/span>\u201cI arrived at 11:11 and she was born at 11:15,\u201d said Glynn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Suddenly and all at once, right outside the hospital door, all 6 pounds 15 ounces of baby girl Navy was born.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt seemed like a scene from a movie. It was a little surreal,\u201d said Glynn.<\/span><\/p>\n

But for hospital workers, it was just another day \u2014 albeit an exciting one. They\u2019ve seen a few not-quite-in-the-hospital births and were well-equipped to handle it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe’ve made ourselves more prepared for this to happen,\u201d nurse Warren said, according to <\/span>People<\/span><\/a>. \u201cWe have an OB kit, and we make sure that we’ve got the baby warmer plugged in so that if anything were to happen, we’ve got the stuff there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Finally, after all the excitement and all the routine that comes with having a baby, things settled down, and Chloe was able to bask in the glow of new motherhood in a quiet moment. <\/span>

\n<\/span>\u201cWhen everybody left yesterday and I was just in here alone,\u201d she said, \u201cI was crying, but it was just happy tears.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
