Coming back from vacation with souvenirs is pretty typical. However, when Australian Dayna Sly finally returns home to Australia from her Disney World vacation, she\u2019ll have something<\/a> a little more precious in tow \u2013 a new baby.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sly and her partner Tony O\u2019Keefe were having a great time at Disney World. She was feeling fine \u2013 no weight gain, no nausea, only a bit of bloating which her doctors told her was a normal symptom of coming off a contraceptive pill. She wasn\u2019t yet thinking of becoming pregnant, as her doctors told her she had polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), which frequently comes with difficulties getting pregnant.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Sly’s trip \u2013 planned months in advance \u2014 unfortunately happened to coincide with the deadly Hurricane Milton.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

While the outer arms of the hurricane were starting to hit the west coast of Florida, Sly was feeling a little off.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“We were inside, we were all bunkered down, trying to stay safe,” Sly told <\/span>9News<\/span><\/a>. <\/span>“I [felt] really bloated, going to go to the bathroom, I took a laxative.” <\/span>But she didn\u2019t feel better; she felt worse.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI started feeling really unwell, and it turned to pain up and down my leg,\u201d she told <\/span>7NEWS<\/span><\/a>. \u201cThe power had gone out so I went to the bathroom and I was just in all this pain.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
