In the music video, home movies and photos of Hailie throughout her childhood are interspersed with photos and videos of her as an adult, including of her wedding to Evan McClintock, whom she met in college.<\/p>\n<p>The video features several emotional moments, such as when Mathers walks up the stairs and sees Hailie for the first time in her wedding dress, and then bursts into tears. Toward the end, Hailie is shown surprising Mathers with a gift: a jersey that says &#8220;Grandpa&#8221; and a sonogram photo of his first grandchild:<\/p>\n<p><center><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZaK9Wi5ho0o?si=qwdxCP_yzf2aUGqq\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/center>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the end of the video, the camera zooms in on a card Hailie wrote for her dad. It reads, &#8220;&#8230;because no matter how many years go by, inside my heart will always be the little girl who loves and needs her dad,&#8221; and then pans to a note she wrote inside.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Dad, I got this card a few years ago and held onto it and now feels like the perfect time to give you it. Thank you for everything you do and always being there for all of us girls. You truly are the best dad in the world. Though Hailie&#8217;s baby is not yet born, his or her humanity is clearly being acknowledged in presenting Mather as a grandfather, and his emotional reaction shows it as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/5ezn-9q2SYM?si=4BDcThTBsW_GPXyL\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Mather is also someone who perhaps understands the value of life firsthand, as he has previously written at least one song showing <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/video-eminem-river-abortion-men\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">how abortion affects men<\/a>. In his song &#8220;River,&#8221; he expresses regret and guilt, and begs his aborted child for forgiveness.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t keep my lies straight, but I made you terminate my baby; This love triangle left us in a wreck, tangled,\u201d he raps. \u201cWhat else can I say? It was fun for a while, bet I really woulda loved your smile, didn\u2019t really wanna abort, but f*** it \u2014 what\u2019s one more lie, to tell our unborn child?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The chorus, which features singer Ed Sheeran, says:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>I&#8217;ve been a liar, been a thief<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>Been a lover, been a cheat<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>All my sins need holy water, feel it washing over me<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>Well, little one, I don&#8217;t want to admit to something<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>If all it&#8217;s gonna cause is pain<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>The truth and my lies now are falling like the rain<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 25px;\"><em>So let the river run<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Post-abortive fathers have frequently <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pastor-opens-up-about-a-past-abortion-and-his-regret\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">spoken out<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/male-prison-inmates-story-of-abortion-regret-shared-at-march-for-life-2014\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about how<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/post-abortive-father-children-dont-destroy-dreams-they-fulfill-them\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortion<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/heartbroken-father-shares-the-pain-of-being-helpless-while-two-of-his-children-were-aborted\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">affected<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/think-men-cant-regret-abortion-three-men-may-change-mind\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">them<\/a> &#8211; even when they are the ones who pressured the mother to have an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish I knew how much better my life could have been with a kid in it,\u201d one post-abortive father said. &#8220;I\u2019ve always felt I would have had a daughter, which I\u2019d have loved now, and becoming a father would have been life-changing. But it\u2019s only as time has passed that I appreciate the enormity of what happened and what I lost,&#8221; another said.<\/p>\n<p>Yet abortion is said to be a women&#8217;s issue, in which men aren&#8217;t supposed to be involved, and they <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/if-you-dont-have-a-uterus-zip-it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aren&#8217;t supposed to speak out<\/a> against it.
