An Indiana woman proved that pregnancy can’t slow her down, coming in first place in the OneAmerica 500 Festival Mini-Marathon in Indianapolis on May 4 \u2014 running while 23 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n

Anna Rohrer, 27, completed<\/a> the 13.1 mile half-marathon in 1 hour, 15 minutes, and 18 seconds.<\/p>\n

According to WNDU<\/a>, Rohrer is no stranger to winning competitions; while in college at the University of Notre Dame, she was a first-team Cross Country All-American, a two-time indoor track first-team All-American, and a three-time outdoor track All-American. Rohrer was also an Atlantic Coast Conference cross country champion in 2016 and won ACC titles in the 5,000-meter in 2017 and was the 10,000-meter outdoor champion in 2017 and 2019. This win, though, was a new notch in her belt, as she outpaced about 8,000 other runners to take home the victory.<\/p>\n

\u201cI didn\u2019t think I\u2019d run quite the same time last year, but you know, whatever God wills is gonna happen on the day,\u201d she said of the win.<\/p>\n

Rohrer announced her pregnancy \u2014 and her baby’s “half-marathon debut” \u2014 in an Instagram post<\/a> on April 2. “Be on the lookout for baby’s half marathon debut in May where I’ll be running for two this year,” she wrote.<\/p>\n
