Update 8\/8\/24:<\/strong> Several months after the birth of their incredibly rare identical quadruplets, Mercedes and Johnathan Sandhu were able to bring the girls home from the hospital, which allowed the girls to meet their big brothers, Luke, 4, and Aaron, nearly 2, for the very first time.<\/p>\n

“We’re so happy they can be together too,” Jonathan told<\/a> Good Morning America. “The past few weeks are the only moments they have ever been apart. Even in the NICU, they were always within a few feet of each other.”<\/p>\n

Johnathan said that watching his children all together has been one of the highlights of having the girls finally home.<\/p>\n

“The best part has been watching our boys welcome their baby sisters … They are obsessed with the girls,” he said. “Seeing our little family come together has been the most heartwarming moment of our lives.”<\/p>\n

5\/8\/24:<\/strong> Mercedes and Jonathan Sandhu of Texas have beat incredible odds after giving birth to\u00a0identical quadruplet girls<\/em> on May 1.<\/p>\n

Mercedes, 34, and Jonathan, 37, were already parents to Luke, 3, and Aaron, 18 months, when they found out they were expecting again. \u201cSo we weren\u2019t trying by any means, but we were excited. We loved the idea of giving our boys another sibling,” Mercedes told TODAY.com<\/a>. \u201cBut when we found out there were four \u2026 Holy moly!\u201d<\/p>\n

Joining their big brothers are Hannah Grace, Lucy Marie, Rebecca Claire, and Petra Anne, who were all born via c-section when Mercedes was 29 weeks pregnant.<\/p>\n
