In the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> report, Planned Parenthood listed 374,155 abortions; now, those abortions have climbed to a whopping <strong>392,715<\/strong> reported in the corporation&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23 annual report<\/a> \u2014\u00a0the highest recorded to date.<\/p>\n<p>This puts the deaths of preborn children from abortion at Planned Parenthood among the leading causes of death for 2022. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/mmwr\/volumes\/72\/wr\/pdfs\/mm7218a3-H.pdf\">Provisional data<\/a> from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) indicates that &#8220;During 2022, the three leading causes of death were heart disease (699,659 deaths), cancer (607,790), and unintentional injury (218,064).&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Tragically, the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23 annual report<\/a> shows that between 2022 and 2023, the taxpayer-funded abortion corporation killed an <strong>additional 18,560 preborn babies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In the past few years, Planned Parenthood has bulked up its marketing of abortion \u2014 or, as they like to call it, their &#8220;patient navigation campaign of online search ads&#8221; \u2014 to thwart women from seeking aid at multiple pro-life pregnancy help centers.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest report, the abortion corporation claimed that 863,000 users accessed their abortion finder website between July 2022 and June 2023, the year following the demise of <em>Roe v. dollars flooding their coffers, <em>rising <strong>4.31%<\/strong><\/em> from the $670.4 million granted to them in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-report-record-high-abortions-drop\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to nearly $700 million ($699.3 M) <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> for the year ending June 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>This report also revealed that taxpayer funding to the abortion corporation had risen $28.9 million in just the past year, making it <strong>34%<\/strong> of the organization&#8217;s total revenue.<\/p>\n<p>In just the past decade, government (taxpayer) funding to Planned Parenthood has increased by 29.4%.<\/p>\n<p>And since 2000, taxpayer dollars to this abortion behemoth have climbed a whopping <em><strong>245%<\/strong><\/em> \u2014 from $202.7 million received in 2000 to nearly $700 million ($699.3 M) <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> for the year ending on June 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Excess revenue UP<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>As of <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">June 30, 2023<\/a>, Planned Parenthood accumulated over $2 BILLION ($ 2,054.3B) in total revenue, up from the $1.9 ($1,906.7) BILLION in revenue they reported as of <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">June 30, 2022.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Expenses as of the end of June 2023 tallied over $1.8 billion ($1,875.7).<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood\u2019s excess revenue over expenses came to $178.6 million, slightly less than what it was in 2021-22.<\/p>\n<p>To date, Planned Parenthood\u2019s total balance sheet (ending on June 30, 2023) shows that the organization\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">net assets and liabilities<\/a>\u00a0have risen to over\u00a0<em>$2.9 billion<\/em>, the highest recorded in recent years.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Prenatal care slightly UP<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Prenatal care services at Planned Parenthood increased slightly \u2014\u00a01.15% \u2014 from 6,244 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 6,316 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>. Planned Parenthood now commits nearly 62 abortions for every <em>one<\/em>\u00a0prenatal care service they provide.<\/p>\n<p>Prenatal services have been on the decline at Planned Parenthood, dropping drastically in the past years, and decreasing a staggering 80% (79.69%) from the 31,098 prenatal services reported in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/2009-2010-Planned-Parenthood-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2010<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Miscarriage care, STI testing\/treatment UP<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>\u201cMiscarriage care\u201d is a relatively new service category for Planned Parenthood, and some speculate that the treatment could be used to clean up abortion pill complications. While the organization does not specify what constitutes &#8220;miscarriage care,&#8221; this unspecified service has risen nearly 36% (35.85%), from 2,653 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 3,604 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>While total STI services were up by 5% from last year (4,411,825 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021<\/a>-22 to 4,633,499 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>), they have dropped nearly 15% (14.73%) from 5,434,446 recorded in 2019.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Private revenue UP, number of donors DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&#8220;Our broad base of committed donors provide approximately 91% of the national organizations\u2019 revenue and 42% of affiliate revenue,&#8221; claimed the abortion corporation, adding that this was somehow &#8220;evidence of our robust grassroots support.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>But that claim might be a bit overstated, as &#8220;active individual contributors&#8221; fell nearly 21% (20.77%) from 727,000 in 2021-22 (which broke a <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/pianned-parenthoods-past-decade-3-3-million-abortions-6-billion-taxpayer-dollars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">falling trend<\/a> of donors over past years) to nearly 576,000 by <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Planned Parenthood&#8217;s report also showed that private contributions made up just 47% of overall revenue. And yet, this is the <em>highest recorded total<\/em>\u00a0for private donations on record.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Client numbers DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>In the 2022-23 report, Planned Parenthood reported fewer clients than in previous years, dropping nearly four percent (3.76%) from the 2.13 million recorded in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22 annual report<\/a> to 2.05 million in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23 annual report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This represents a client\u00a0<em>decrease<\/em> of <strong>nearly 34%<\/strong> (33.87%) from the 3.1 million clients recorded in its 2006 report \u2014 and yet, taxpayer dollars to the corporation have gone up year after year.<\/p>\n<p>Planned Parenthood&#8217;s <strong>total facilities<\/strong> (nearly 600) and affiliates (49) remained basically the same as the previous year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Total services<\/strong> at Planned Parenthood increased less than half a percent, from 9,117,154 in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 9,131,975 recorded in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Contraceptive services DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Total contraceptive services (which includes &#8220;counseling and care&#8221;) were down from last year by just over 4% (2,348,275 in 2021-22 to 2,250,913 recorded in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>) but have dropped nearly 44% (43.86%) from the 4,009,549 recorded in 2009.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Total cancer services slightly DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Overall cancer screenings decreased from where they were last year, dropping 1.36% from 470,419 offered in 2021-22 to 464,021 offered in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>. Total cancer screenings have dropped nearly 79% (78.50%) from a high of 2,157,849 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/2005-2006-Planned-Parenthood-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2004<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Breast screenings<\/strong> at Planned Parenthood increased over 10% (10.16%) from 193,045 offered in 2021-22 to 212,655 offered in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>. In the past, Planned Parenthood has provided only manual breast exams. Live Action News is unaware if this has changed. Planned Parenthood&#8217;s &#8220;breast care&#8221; services have dropped over 80% (80.43%) from the 1,086,654 they provided in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/2000_-_2001.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2000<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pap tests<\/strong> fell nearly 14% (13.50%) from 228,466 offered in 2021-22 to 197,617 in 2022-23, but have dropped over 83% (83.3%) from a high of 1,183,692 in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/research\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/2005-2006-Planned-Parenthood-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2004<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong><u>Preventative care visits (formerly &#8216;well-woman&#8217; exams) DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Planned Parenthood\u2019s total of \u201cother reproductive health services\u201d (which once included well-woman exams, pregnancy tests, prenatal care, and miscarriage care) decreased over four percent (4.09%), from 1,110,249 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 1,065,041 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Pregnancy tests increased slightly, from 914,116 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 925,905 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It is important to note that the \u201cwell woman exam\u201d category has been replaced by the category known as \u201cpreventative care visits.\u201d If these categories are equal and the \u201cwoman\u201d moniker was changed under the auspices of inclusivity, it would reveal a nearly 31% decrease (30.98%) from 187,234 \u201cpreventative care visits\u201d in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 129,216 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Despite this, the category has decreased over 45% (45.10%) from a \u201cwell woman exams\u201d high of 235,355 in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-2016-women-dont-need\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2016<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Adoption referrals DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Adoption referrals decreased nearly five percent (4.55%) at Planned Parenthood, from 1,803 in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021-22<\/a> to 1,721 in <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>These adoption referrals have fallen nearly 65% from a high of 4,912 recorded in <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/2007-2008-Planned-Parenthood-Annual-Report.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2007<\/a>. What this shows is that Planned Parenthood kills over 228 preborn babies for every <em>one<\/em>\u00a0adoption referral.<\/p>\n<h4><strong><u>Transgender services and other procedures DOWN<\/u><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Planned Parenthood\u2019s \u201cother procedures\u201d category, which includes \u201ctransgender services,\u201d\u00a0<strong>climbed over 1500%<\/strong>\u00a0from 15,902 in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/40\/8f\/408fc2ad-c8c2-48da-ad87-be5cc257d370\/211214-ppfa-annualreport-20-21-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2020<\/a>\u00a0to 256,550 in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/25\/ed\/25ed2675-fbbc-453b-8b35-f8ddaa025b57\/281222-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2021<\/a>. However, in the <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.plannedparenthood.org\/uploads\/filer_public\/ec\/f4\/ecf43d92-fcd2-4d11-b299-e67b5c3ac394\/2024-ppfa-annualreport-c3-digital.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022-23<\/a> report, that service fell by <em>30%<\/em> from the year prior, to 177,237.<\/p>\n<p>The report noted that Planned Parenthood now has 45 affiliates \u201cproviding gender-affirming hormone therapy\u201d and, interestingly, 35 affiliates reportedly offer \u201cdepression screening,\u201d while 49 affiliates offered &#8220;telehealth&#8221; services.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action News will publish more on this service in a separate report.<\/p>\n<h3><strong><u>Summary<\/u><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Planned Parenthood now receives over <strong>$1.9 million dollars from U.S. taxpayers every day<\/strong> while servicing fewer clients and decreasing legitimate health services.<\/p>\n<p>And instead of offering real help to women, in 2022-23, the abortion corporation doubled down on its commitment to end the lives of nearly 400,000 innocent preborn babies, now committing over 228 abortions for every <em>one<\/em> adoption referral and 62 abortions for every <em>one<\/em>\u00a0prenatal care service they provide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/actnow.io\/ARQQhk1\"><b><i>The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail for protesting the killing of preborn children.
