The film follows a young man after<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> the tragic loss of his best friend, as he searches for her secret sister.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oQ7iDaQAjgE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">trailer<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for &#8220;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Someone Like You&#8221;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> reveals that one of the pivotal characters, London, &#8220;was an in vitro baby,&#8221; with her parents stating that &#8220;The procedure gave us two embryos.\u201d This means that London had a sibling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Embryos are rightly humanized throughout the film, visualizing London\u2019s father grappling with the fact there there was another full human involved in the IVF process, and London\u2019s mother being sure of it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wie1GDo7jbg?si=peD1q4-delV51LWW\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kingsbury, author of over 100 Christian books, many of which are bestsellers, said that this particular book was one she wanted to turn into a movie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\u201cIt\u2019s something I\u2019d never seen in movies or in books before,\u201d she explained. She said that one day she met a woman with three little girls, all who had been conceived via IVF.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI had no idea that that was a thing, and that there\u2019s more than half a million embryos in deep cryopreservation on ice awaiting adoption today,\u201d she explained on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/video\/6350041109112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fox News<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. \u201cScience has raised questions that only God can answer.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This movie could not have come at a more relevant time. Since the Alabama Supreme Court\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/alabama-supreme-court-embryos-children\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ruling<\/a> in February that stated frozen embryos can be considered children under the state\u2019s Wrongful Death of a Minor Act, IVF has been in the headlines, in both positive and negative lights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/american-idol-teen-mom\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>American Idol contestant performs original song she wrote while pregnant at 16<\/em><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Someone Like You&#8221; shows that embryos <em>are<\/em> human, while at the same time it doesn&#8217;t glorify IVF itself. It<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> deals with embryo adoption in a way that highlights it as the adoption of a full, unique, human being, but at the same time is incredibly emotional and confusing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As previously reported by <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/woman-ivf-cash-cow-pro-lifers-defending\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Live Action News<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As pro-lifers rush to defend IVF as pro-life, they must be aware of all of the negatives that surround the fertility industry, including the massive death toll IVF has caused, and should educate themselves on alternatives like NaProTechnology.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The IVF industry <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/ivf-destroys-embryos-higher-rate-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">destroys human embryos<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> at a higher rate than abortion, and with this massive death toll it is encouraging to see a movie that shows the humanity of the embryos created \u2014 the ones that are first used, and the ones left frozen until a later time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: center;\"><span class=\"s1\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/tell-congress-stop-the-doj-from-targeting-pro-life-americans\/?utm_campaign=doj_petition&amp;utm_medium=lan_website\"><b><i>The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail for protesting the killing of preborn children.
