{"id":308245,"date":"2024-03-09T13:08:41","date_gmt":"2024-03-09T19:08:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/?p=308245"},"modified":"2024-03-08T11:56:56","modified_gmt":"2024-03-08T17:56:56","slug":"planned-parenthood-millions-aborted-body-parts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/planned-parenthood-millions-aborted-body-parts\/","title":{"rendered":"Group alleges Planned Parenthood poised to make millions from illegal aborted body parts trade"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>The Center for Medical Progress (CMP) has announced that it obtained documents which the group alleges show a potentially illegal transaction between Planned Parenthood and the University of California San Diego (UCSD) regarding the body parts of aborted children.<\/p>\n<p>According to CMP, &#8220;Never-before-seen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.centerformedicalprogress.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/PPPSWUCSD_MTA.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">documents<\/a> released under a public records request show Planned Parenthood transferring &#8216;proprietary&#8217; aborted fetal body parts to UC San Diego explicitly for &#8216;valuable consideration&#8217; \u2014 a violation of federal law \u2014 in exchange for ownership of the university&#8217;s &#8216;patents&#8217; and &#8216;intellectual property&#8217; developed by experimenting on them.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u00a0<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/CQ3uURP604s?si=RKfLHEGShzuyI5ip\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">The &#8220;Biological Material Transfer Agreement&#8221; shared by CMP is a contract between Planned Parenthood of San Diego and Riverside Counties and UCSD. CMP stated, &#8220;The contract, made for &#8216;valuable consideration&#8217;, grants UCSD &#8216;access&#8217; to &#8216;fetal and placental tissue, which are proprietary materials of PPSD&#8217;. The parties agree that in granting &#8216;access&#8217; to the &#8216;proprietary&#8217; aborted fetal body parts, &#8216;PPSD shall retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Material, including but not limited to all right, title, and interest in patents and patent applications and other intellectual property rights relating to the Material&#8217;.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>CMP explained that such a contract could bring in millions of dollars in revenue. \u201cThese facts clearly demonstrate Planned Parenthood sells baby parts in violation of federal law and for potentially far more money than we ever discussed before,\u201d said CMP.<\/p>\n<p>The documents show, said CMP, that for the last 15 years, Planned Parenthood has been supplying UCSD with body parts for &#8220;research&#8221; that could be worth millions in revenue for Planned Parenthood. Listed on the patents were brains, eyes, hearts, and livers from late-term, healthy aborted babies.<\/p>\n<p>CMP founder and president David Daleiden told <a href=\"https:\/\/catholicvote.org\/planned-parenthood-contracting-transfer-of-aborted-baby-parts-in-exchange-for-rights-to-intellectual-property\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CatholicVote<\/a>, \u201cThese documents show that the whole time Planned Parenthood swore to Congress and the public they did not sell body parts, they were lying about active contracts like this one to sell aborted fetuses for massive financial value in violation of federal law.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/actnow.io\/ARQQhk1\"><b><i>The DOJ put a pro-life grandmother in jail for protesting the killing of preborn children.
