Toledo police have named the man allegedly responsible for shooting and killing his pregnant girlfriend and their preborn child, and are asking for the public’s help in more information about the horrific crime.<\/p>\n

On January 24, 2024, Tameisha Price was murdered<\/a>, allegedly by Paris James. Price, 34, was shot multiple times; she was also eight months pregnant with a baby girl, named Malaysia Leani Price. Malaysia also died, and a separate death certificate was issued for her.<\/p>\n

In a press release<\/a> from the Toledo Police Department, James was named as a suspect and charged with two counts of aggravated murder \u2014 one for Tameisha Price, and one for baby Malaysia. James is not currently in custody, and anyone with information about him or the crime is encouraged to call or text Crimestoppers at (419) 255-1111.<\/p>\n

A GoFundMe account<\/a> has been created for her family, which includes two children who now are left without their mother.<\/p>\n

“Tameisha was a loving, caring and giving daughter, sister, mother, and friend,” the fundraiser said. “Tameisha loved the Lord. She was an amazing soul whose love profoundly impacted the lives she came in contact with. Losing her leaves a huge empty space in the lives of those she left behind, including her two very talented sons, Jayden Ke’shawn (16) and Leslie Michael (13), and her parents, Tyler and Stacey Price. We have set-up this account to help with some immediate and future expenses as her children adjust to life without her.”<\/p>\n

On her Facebook page<\/a>, Price had made it clear that she was excited to meet her baby girl, sharing maternity photos tagged “3weekstogo” and captioned “angel of mine,” and in another post<\/a>, said awaiting her baby’s birth was the “sweetest anticipation.”<\/p>\n

On January 1, she wrote<\/a>, “Walking into 2024 with so much peace looking forward to what GOD has for me and my family. My daughter will be born next month I\u2019m filled with so much joy, I can\u2019t wait to meet my baby girl.”<\/p>\n
