Wade<\/em> ranged between 5,000 and 10,000 annually. But Live Action News <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/thousands-women-werent-dying-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/politifact-abortion-expert-debunked-illegal-statistcs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">debunked<\/a> these false claims, including debunking Planned Parenthood on this subject <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/lying-planned-parenthood-debunked-abortion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">multiple<\/a> times.<\/p>\n<p>Live Action News <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/fooled-abortion-bans-didnt-thousands-deaths\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">previously<\/a> documented:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hundreds of thousands of women\u00a0<em>did not<\/em>\u00a0die from illegal abortions annually.<\/li>\n<li>Abortion death numbers were purposely inflated to scare politicians and manipulate the public.<\/li>\n<li>The year <em>Roe<\/em> was decided,\u00a0<em>legal<\/em>\u00a0abortion killed more women than\u00a0<em>illegal<\/em>\u00a0abortion.<\/li>\n<li>No one knew exact illegal abortion death numbers, but abortion advocates acknowledged that numbers were inflated.<\/li>\n<li>Antibiotics decreased the number of illegal abortion deaths.<\/li>\n<li>Only a small percentage of women visited non-medical personnel for illegal abortions.<\/li>\n<li>Physicians referred patients to colleagues for illegal abortions.<\/li>\n<li>Physicians committed the majority of illegal abortions.<\/li>\n<li>Illegal abortions were often classified\u00a0as \u201ctherapeutic\u201d (to save a woman\u2019s life) so they could be done by doctors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/fooled-abortion-bans-didnt-thousands-deaths\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Roe was End of Women Dying from Abortions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today, abortion advocates continue to regurgitate disproven talking points, like this gem from Twitter\/&#8221;X&#8221; handle <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rking78708\/status\/1754965065386578070\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@rking78708<\/a>.It reads, &#8220;Roe wasn&#8217;t the beginning of women having abortions. Roe was the end of women dying from abortions.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-container\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"qme\" dir=\"ltr\"> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8UNl2ALvIq\">pic.twitter.com\/8UNl2ALvIq<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Robby\ud83d\udc99 (@rking78708) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/rking78708\/status\/1754965065386578070?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 6, 2024<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>That claim is entirely false.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the number of <a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/abortion-data-cdc-increase-2021\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">published<\/a> deaths related to <em><strong>legal<\/strong><\/em> abortions has now risen to <strong><em>460<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/unfathomable-abortions-estimated-since-roe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recorded<\/a> by the CDC between\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/mmwr\/volumes\/72\/ss\/ss7209a1.htm?s_cid=ss7209a1_w#T15_down\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1973 and 2020<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>When women die after a legal abortion, their names are simply forgotten by the industry which lured them to their deaths with slick marketing strategies.<\/p>\n<p>A few examples are shown below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u2018Unlucky\u2019 and Dead<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 1985, 38-year-old Ellen Lorena Williams died after her legal abortion. A jury awarded her family $1 million.<\/p>\n<p>She was described by award-winning journalist Deborah Sontag in an investigative piece published at the Miami Herald as \u201c<em><strong>the unluckiest of all\u201d<\/strong><\/em> the women to seek an abortion at a legal facility in South Florida \u2014 one that has been protected by pro-abortion activists at times.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/abortiondocs.org\/abortionists\/chatoor-b-singh\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">abortionist<\/a>, Chatoor Bisal Singh, continued to commit legal abortions long after Williams&#8217; body and her preborn baby were in the ground.<\/p>\n<p>According to Sontag&#8217;s article, just days after her legal abortion from Singh, Williams was \u201crushed by ambulance to Coral Reef Hospital, where she underwent emergency surgery,&#8221; but\u00a0\u201cThe surgery was too late. Her uterus and bowel had been perforated during the first abortion and the infection was acute. He botched the procedure so badly that Agbagaa lost three pints of blood and lapsed into a coma as a result. Her uterus was punctured, and her uterine artery was severed on January 7, 1989 while she was undergoing a 19-week abortion at the Y&amp;P Women\u2019s Medical Association abortion business in New York City. She died eight days later at a local hospital.<\/p>\n<p>The Syracuse Herald American alleged that after Zelikman committed the legal abortion on Agbagaa, he continued to commit abortions on other women before leaving the facility, while Agbagaa lay bleeding in recovery. The woman was left by Zelikman in the care of of abortion facility administrator Yolanda Penalver, who was not a licensed health care professional yet allegedly administered anesthesia to the abortion client.<\/p>\n<p>Agbagaa\u2019s friend, who accompanied her that day, unsuccessfully attempted to summon Zelikman back to the facility. But the infection eventually won, and Carolina and her preborn child both lost their lives. She had just celebrated her 18th birthday.<\/p>\n<p>It was Planned Parenthood\u2019s implementation of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2006\/03\/17\/national\/2-more-women-die-after-taking-abortion-pill.html?searchResultPosition=4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">unapproved\u00a0regimen<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sciencedaily.com\/releases\/2008\/06\/080616115657.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">off-label<\/a>\u00a0use of the abortion pill that led to Holly\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/archives\/la-xpm-2005-aug-15-me-abortion15-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">death<\/a>\u00a0from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/news\/ct-xpm-2003-11-30-0311300456-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">septic shock<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/sB8Hc7RGf5c?si=G43_JLBHRXxnHaKV\" width=\"640\" height=\"355\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display: inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 0;\" class=\"mce_SELRES_start\">\ufeff<\/span><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Woman Left to Bleed Out<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In 2012, Planned Parenthood left Tonya Reaves, a young Black woman,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/archive.liveaction.org\/news\/new-details-on-the-death-of-tonya-reaves\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">bleeding<\/a> after her legal abortion in Chicago. She died later at the hospital.
